Same as Belle Vue had 1st pick on Palin..... Sheffield with Bates.... Palin is an asset of scunthorpe our only asset from the list was Bickley

IronScorpion
Sorry, my mistake, but I knew I had read it somewhere 93 Members 93 107 posts Report post Posted Wednesday at 03:23 PM On 2/17/2021 at 2:43 PM, TheWatcher said: You raise an interesting point. But why would Peterborough get to pick their rider ahead of Belle Vue? Or is there something about the selection process we have not been told? Yes. After new boys Sheffield, the rest allegedly got to pick in order of the 2019 finl league table, worst to best, so the order of picking was Peterborough, King's Lynn,, Belle Vue, Ipswich, Wolves. (Though that does make you wonder why Drew Kemp wasn't picked earlier) Thanks Haha Confused Sad

If anything should let league champions have first pick etc as they probably have the most points to shed from their team!

RS50
Adam Ellis at Sheffield. Did not see that coming. Wonder what average he comes on.
SSL84
Thought Adam Ellis was not riding in Britain? Is that not why he pulled out of the Poole team to race more abroad. On saying that it is good to see a Adam back in the league.
Grachan
Brilliant. I've been trying (and struggling) to get enthusiasm for Sheffield, as my "second" team with Swindon pulling out. With Steady, Batch and now Adam there I might even make a trip up to watch the Tigers this year. Now, where's my Sheffield Tigers polo shirt? I'm sure I've still got it somewhere.
