Dandelion
VERY happy with some of the rider named there... Jamie Halder and Josh Embleton are two riders who have deserved team places for years and have found them hard to come by, not sure of Jamie's experience at Brough though? But it will be a good step in his development Archie, Max and Joe all great signings and great riders for this level, Archie should have a cracking first season, especially at home Really surprised but pleased that Leon Flint has signed, he will be brilliant back up for Max Ryan MacDonald, solid reserve at this level, don't know much about him but I really do hope he kicks on and has a great season I can see the National Trophy coming to Brough!! Maybe Mildenhall will give us a run for our money, but I'd like to think the Isle of Wight and Plymouth should be beatable, good luck to the Gems in 2020 Edited January 24, 2020 by Dandelion 1
leander
Has anybody noticed that we have got Edinburgh in the KOC now and not Eastbourne as was originally announced (by BSPA).

Also, I wonder why Robbo didn't hold his meeting at Newcastle, it is after all where he started and ended his career. Might be because Newcastle might not of been racing this season,So Robbo went to Redcar and the stadium rent might be less but that is just my opinion. There is an announcement regarding Josh Embleton if you can avoid the missing page error. But nothing reference the other 5. Still this is a new promotion and they are getting up to speed I guess. And good luck to them. Bringing two sides to market from nowhere is no mean feat. I'm just glad to see that another famous club has not been lost possibly forever.

Dandelion
Maybe the website will be split into two... One for the Diamonds and another for the Gems/NJL team etc...

Surely both teams can benefit from the the joint focus on a single website?

So they can amass a following of their own separate from the main team... Gives them more backing and stuff...

All things Newcastle, be it Diamonds, Gems or Sapphires, should all be on the same website with different Tabs or contained in a Drop-down. Add to that the potential extra cost of two or three websites, to the site hosts, is silly. Edited January 25, 2020 by StevePark

Same website, just split into two sections... Maybe on the home page it shows the Diamonds logo and the Gems logo and you click on the one you want to get the news feed/team news etc for the desired team... Easy to switch with the click of a button somewhere too... I don't mean completely different websites Bad choice of words Edited January 25, 2020 by Dandelion

enotian
Looking forward to the Gems matches. Some really talented youngsters to see before they (hopefully) become massive stars. I think it's probably the future sustainable level for the Diamonds tbh. Interesting move by the new promotion. However, hopefully the double headers won't be marathons. The danger being that those not inclined to hang about for a half hour of track grading between matches or for 4 hours plus to see 30 mins of action will have had to pay £3 more for nothing extra. Regardless of any centre green displays or ability to buy fresh meat produce, it could end up being a massive turn off for some. Intend to get both matches done in a maximum 2 and a half hours please.
