3 lapsed fans of my acquaintance would return if we got a genuine, big name, #1

i know the sums need to add up but I think many fans need a hero in the team. A 7.5 point #1 who loses heat 15 every week is never a hero.

I’m pretty sure Glasgow would have Craig cook as #1 even on a 12.00 average. It’s a statement of power, and consistency in the big heats 13 and 15 which often are match winners

Here’s the Danish averages. I assume any newcomer would be 5.2?

Makes Jonas B Andersen good value on his 2018 Redcar average 5.91 and Birkemose a fantastic one on 5.2 (although he seems to be in Poland already).

Here’s another article on promising Danes:

Cracking speedway nation!

Noticed Germany's Kevin Wolbert's name on that list.....      ...he was a Brough specialist at one point.

It would be awesome to see some genuine Danish talent in the Diamonds ranks but Britain doesn't seem to be their training ground anymore.

Would double down Aussies be allowed to ride for the Diamonds? Sponsored by their Premiership club?  Wondering if the likes of Grazczonek or Tungate end up like Sam Masters and wanting to ride in the Championship afterall??

Sadly, double down  Aussies, not allowed to appear for a club, which is not a sponsors licence holder. Another work permit required, to appear in the championship.
