Never going anywhere else. Quite a potent reserve pairing of Sedgeman (5.33) & Bailey (3.11) as their 3* Rising Star. Certainly strengthens them,Jack Smith doesn’t seem to be improving much. The H Man
Pleased to report to that Ulrich was discharged from hospital in Edinburgh this afternoon, he is now flying back to his family in Denmark (via Glasgow & Stanstead) to start his recovery. I know he’s been blown away by the concern the shown by the supporters of Glasgow & Peterborough and the fans in general.
screm
Looks like Ulrich Ostergaard has been ruled out for the rest of the season. Edited August 11, 2021 by screm
Jaizer
Didn't realise extent of his back injuries. Hopefully makes a full recovery. Had certainly proved me wrong in his performances in the stripes this season. A sad end
MD
Just like Lewis Kerr in 2018, Ulrich has been our rider of the season and his points have covered the arses of some of his colleagues who have more than underperformed. Perhaps announcing Ulle's season being over is that a signing is imminent. Its a hard average to fill.

Could it be covered with one change at this crucial part of the season, or would two changes give us better options?

I think it’ll need to be two changes but like people have said there’s not a huge amount out there….
Jaizer
Can't think many options. Josh auty, but he's never been up to much at ashfield that I can remember. Vissing maybe, but sure read on another thread he wouldn't come over without a premiership team too. Guests haven't covered for ulle so change (s) definitely needed
Fromafar
Vissing would be a good choice given his Ashfield form.

Would be a solid second heat leader to support Craig, but his last average I believe was 8.43, which would mean the two changes as the unfortunate Ulrich's average is 7.96.
Jaizer
Sedgeman for a Danish/ Swedish/ Australian newcomer? Mads Hansen or Fraser Bowes maybe? Not like sedgeman pulling up any trees at reserve might as well add a potential asset for next season like did with Sam

That wouldn't be an issue , Kings Lynn haven't changed their side for a week and a half , so they must be due .

Enjoyed watching him when he was at Belle Vue

mac101
we can only change like for like unless we redeclare back to lower points limit and can’t really see anybody out there that’s any better than we have maybe we should just do what Leicester did when they won the league get the best guest for each track but with the new rule kinda going to be hard but sure the promotion are working hard to bring someone in for Ulrich

Aaron Summers may be worth a shout for home meetings, he was impressive at Ashfield two weeks ago and perhaps has turned a corner. Outside the play off contenders there isn't much choice though Paul Starke is a rider I keep thinking could do a reasonable job. Just not Jye Etheridge again. Jaizer
Never liked running with guests personally, think Leigh lanham many years ago scoring 1 point from number 1 has scarred me for life . And with so many Friday night clubs might find choice thin on the ground at times
JanAndersen
Going with guests is certainly an option especially if you can get through to the play-offs which Glasgow should. There would be more riders available at that stage due to some teams not having meetings.
