If it wasn't for your current owners Glasgow would have probably been lost to the sport so just count yourself lucky. Newcastle do very well considering they only have access to the stadium on race day. Absolutely, I'm only too aware - not to mention hugely grateful - for that. One question though, other than finance, is there any reason why Newcastle's circuit remains so narrow?

How many Championship Clubs actually own stadia they race in? Glasgow Leicester Scunthorpe Somerset are these owned by Speedway Clubs? or have I missed any out? Central Park Stadium, Kent Speedway is owned by Roger Cearns who is co-promoter for Speedway.

Would only be able to widen on the inside as outside would interfere with greyhound track

Again unfortunately for Kent they are impeded by the council on so many things they can’t just go and have a practice day. Although rc owns the stadium it still essential ay like having to ask the council about its use.

Not if you widen the bends at the end of the new straight.

Leicesters stadium not owned by the owners of the club, it's leased from a company owned by a Mr Hemsley, which in turn leases the land from Leicester City Council. (or at least it used to be but that's not changed as far as I know). But I think the lease of the stadium provides plenty of access for the club.

Weeyin
Welcome to Glasgow Sedgy, strange Edinburgh feel to the Tigers next season, anyway if Ricky and Justin can give the same commitment that Cookie does then I am sure they will win the fans over. Still it will be a little strange at first, Claus will be missed by a lot of fans, he has a big following at Glasgow.

MD
A big leap of faith with JS. He's had a few poor seasons of recent and a habit of having prolonged spells of r/r for what has seemed simple injuries. The natural position for him would be at 2 partnering Cook where they rode well before at the wee team. He's on a good average and will be welcomed as all new riders are. Its a new start for him and us, and another brilliant season is on its way.

Racin Jason 72
I hope his attitude has improved. When he rode for Ipswich it stank like a sewer.
