Yes good practice for next month possibly, or the end of this one!;)

Yep, that's when I will be getting down to Wimborne for the first time this season for the play-offs & ko cup

Stevie now 4 rides 4 WINS

There were a few people saying before the start of tonight's meeting that we'd picked the wrong guest.
They weren't saying that at the end. 4 rides, 4 wins and the 4 fastest times of the night.
Thank you Steve, you did us proud.

And we'll have no more of that in the KO Cup semi final, thank you very much. B)

After a very unhappy visit to Poole in August I've had an idea. You know those old black and white POW films where the inmates are trying to get rid of the soil taken from a tunnel? They put the soil in bags inside their trousers with a draw string attached. Then they wandered onto the exercise area, pulled the draw string and released the unwanted soil onto the ground. Perhaps visiting riders could adopt a similar technique with bags of shale when they are doing their track walk at Wimborne Road?

Funny how things happen sometimes, isn't it? Leicester had some new shale on track tonight. From Edinburgh (a quarry, I assume, not the speedway). Apparently it's larger stones and has less clay in it. Whatever it is, the racing was pretty good.
Word is that 60 tons of it are heading down south. Hmmm.

Whoever wins the ko cup semi between us & Lions will easily go on to win it.

Shame we av been drawn together in the semi as this would make for a crackin finale.

Altho I'm a Pirate my local track is Leicester so should be at both legs.

Hopefully the play off final will see us do battle to the end :t:

There is a difference though! Premiership is full of 1,3,5 and maybe 4s of the championship. Therefore every race is a different level to championship

Of course there is a difference. But the leagues are prob the closest they have ever been. That's why lots of fans pass comments on Batch and so on if they ride in one league miles better than the other one.

Just read that @BobC as sadly suddenly passed away last night.

He was a brilliant contributer to this forum and friends to many, not just at Poole but around the speedway world.

RIP Bob
