Poole Pirates 2021

Recommended Posts

Depending on how much attendances are restricted from May 17th, Poole only have 2 home meetings currently scheduled before the next significant date of June 21st when all/most restrictions of lockdown are likely to be lifted if current progress is maintained, so it may not be a huge problem for the club.

Same with Newcastle, but it would appear that the Council has now allowed a few more people in for those 2 meetings,

Surely the biggest question must be....After 18 months or more with no speedway, have all  the bumps and ruts been smoothed out on the track? Or has nothing been done to it at all?

I think we all know the answer to that one.

Any news from wimborne road all gone quiet agaìn

With confirmation about Step 3 on 17th May still to be announced, I note all Prem clubs are going live with their online ticket sales from 11th May at 0900hrs, presumably based on a nudge nudge wink wink from Govt by 10th May.

Expect those remaining Championship clubs to make their announcements on a similar timescale - if not sooner.

It looks as if some fans can't wait for the Pirates to race again. They have camped out early ready to get tickets.

maybe you are right heard the start has been changed i am sure skidder will know ?

The announcement of the possible delay of one week was made this morning before the Govt confirmation of 'Step 3'. Now that has happened the discussions with landlords and local council can now continue based upon a capacity of around 2000 ish and what social distancing measures can be controlled.
