The scientists are talking as a 'when' not 'if' when it comes to the third wave. I guess how bad it is depends on how transmissible the virus is when someone has had the vaccine. SteveLyric2
The club confirm that they will still be using Middlo and/or Havvy as team managers - Middlo having weekend business commitments. Havvy also planning to be at some of the Pirates home meetings. Edited April 19, 2021 by Skidder1

They should have asked anyone from Coventry or Berwick about Havvy’s Team Management credentials, Openly admitted at a Berwick supporters forum that he had never read a rule book and wouldn’t. The riders did not like him at all.

SteveLyric2
Danny Ford in the Echo today confirms that Poole have NOT taken any of the Govt loan cash made available to English Speedway! Also, advance ticketing arrangements and pricing to be announced in the next couple of weeks, whilst confirming that all season ticket holders (those rolled over from 2020 plus new ones for 2021) will get automatic entry to all qualifying fixtures.. Way back Matt Ford had said he would be prepared to run without the glass grandstand being operational - but I'm not sure that would be easily achieveable.
