That is 2 weeks in a row where the meeting was all over bar the shouting early doors with big home scores. I, like many speedway fans enjoy these speedway rewinds as it get us our speedway fix in this terrible time. If anybody from the pirates videos/board/website is reading this can we please get a closer meeting with better racing as i think it would attract more viewers as big win after big win gets a bit tedious, non pirate fans will loose interest. regards
Steve Shovlar
Thought it was great racing with loads of passing tonight. Wolves just not at the same level. A young Freddie Lindgren showing his potential, Lindback showing brilliance, with Bjarne showing why he was so popular for Poole fans.

Gate and go most of the heats with the odd pass here and there,(and thats at a push) think i was watching a different meeting to you then. I would agree however lindgren was certainly the pick of the bunch with his efforts.

Its the 2008 play-off final 2nd leg Poole v Lakeside. Still I hear that Corrie is good?! Enjoy...
DC2
Are these Poole’s “Greatest hits” in black and white and filmed by Pathe News?

Though I remember what John Cook did to the Lakeside track that night. Paid off against Swindon in the semis but Middlo was wise to that trick and the riders were ready for it. SteveLyric2
Next Wednesday's (6th May) video re-wind is the 2011 Grand Final 2nd leg Poole v Eastbourne. Incidentally very interesting 'post-meeting' discussion last night with Matt Ford and Bjarne Pedersen. Not only some good memories but some surprising (to some) positive views about Speedway returning in July/August with re-vamped social distancing measures currently being discussed by BSPL and Sports Minister?! Matt also commenting on extending the season and mentioning that some promoters (and riders) have been asking about the possibilities of a Winter League?! jenga
a winter league ehh ! at least there will not be a summer break, more of a rain/freeze break !. that will really attract the punters , not . look forward to 2021 . thats if speedway has not died a death .
