Don't try saying that to Tai , loved the Wolves track, hated it at Arlington, remember a half time interview and in his usual family friendly way on the mike said "I fu****g hate the place" and that was before he had his hand injury there.

Anyway Tom would be great for you at No7.

Monmore is about twice the width of Arlington :D

Many who attend Eastbourne regularly enjoy their speedway and I respect that but it’s without doubt the worst racetrack I’ve been to, far too narrow and tight.

I've been a few times, has certainly improved over the years and they now put on a good show down there, the racing is pretty good too.its a small technical track yes but I think that they make for better racing.nss being the exception.if the track is ridden in an attacking manner then the riders reap the rewards.

A team full of riders who can improve there averages, the secret to success in speedway.

Ryan Douglas is flying in OZ, Nick Morris can surely improve on an average which came about after injury. Becker could be anything and Nicol should be a trump card at reserve, particularly once he masters Monmore.

As a regular at Monmore and occasional visitor to Arlington I much prefer the latter. Technical but it can be attacked unlike Monmore.

Monmore was designed for 2 riders and a fantastic opportunity missed to create a lovely d-shape down back straight.

becker is riding for same team as thorsell in sweden dackarna so if he can do it so can thorsell no excuse !!

Its got nothing to do with who can and who can't do it. Someone had to go, and it appears its because Thorsell was going to be based in Sweden rather than England. Thorsell himself said it would be a problem a few weeks ago.

It always makes me laugh when riders earnings are discussed. It isn't really anyone else's business other than the rider and club thats paying. Most deals are private and us mere mortals really don't know. I'm sure we'd be surprised if we did. Rumours abound that a rider is earning such and such but its a subject thats taboo in so many ways.

no one has mentioned how much they are earning or what it is ? every club has a rider on more points money than other riders what's up with you !! thorsell would have been top earner there !! just like all other number ones at other clubs for christ sake

But...you'll never know...keep assuming.

There's a lot more to it than points money. You've got guarantees, van or no van, accomodation, flights, sign on fees, etc, etc.

Three heat leaders all on the same guarantee per meeting is one FACT I do know (not Wolves).

oh so your word is right  do me a favour you know like i know so please don't patronise !! it doesn't wash with me sunshine !!:nono: we all know for christ sake it involves more than points money and if you read my comment proper it says highest paid which would include all of what you mentioned for christ sake

My point is, you don't really know, and my guess is that money had nothing to do with Thorsell not riding for Wolves in 2021.

thorsell started the season 2 months later than masters he was injured so those averages are wrong not equal matches :nono: averages don't dictate who gets paid more !! if you think masters is better than thorsell well not a lot to say

To be perfectly honest I don't think there's much to choose between Wolves top 4, if they are all firing they are all very capable.

It could be the team to beat if they could get Tom brennan as the young star at No 7 ?

Brennan would be a dream signing. Has to be the best option for any team to sign on potential as far as I’m concerned.

wrong masters riding for reznow becker riding for Lodz thorsell is riding for opole in poland and has for his swedish team dackarna becker is riding for them also so if he can do it so can do it no reason thorsell can't because becker is doing exactly what you are saying is difficult ??? also morris is riding in danish league for reg /vardy so plenty wolves riders travelling in and out of the country !!

It really is simple and explained in the press release. CVS wants riders BASED in the UK, Jacob is based in Sweden.
we know riders fly in and out to race usually. There is nothing usual about racing in any league right now.

A rider had to go, it was obvious to me it was going to be Jacob with the rest based in the UK.

More than Drew Kemp?

Brennan for me is top pick. Don’t get me wrong I rate Kemp highly and think he will probably be the next youngster to make headway in Poland. Kemp will be at Ipswich I would imagine even tho they have named Rowe?

I imagine both Rowe and Kemp will be at Ipswich, so Brennen the most likely and to be honest all three are capable of beating each other and think Brennen will be best at Monmore of the 3.

As regards their future potential, who knows at the moment, how many times have we seen similar very good youngsters go in very different directions career wise,  always think back to Tai and Lewis Bridger being very similar at 17/18, and we know where that went.
