If so Somerset’s, Glasgow’s, Leicester’s and Redcar’s of this season were better imo? But if Pickering is 4th then fair enough, depends on a strong reserve No team is winning away at Armadale with that top three IMO. Pickering has improved year on year and I’ve not doubt he will again. Masters is pretty much unbeatable at Edinburgh with Worrall not far behind. Mr Blobby
With the strong top 3 we need to find a couple of second strings that can improve on their starting averages. Reserves that are going to chip in with 3/4 points a meeting is also a must. Too many last places were our problem last season.

GhostRider
Based on the rule that you still need a 2 pointer (not sure if this has changed for this season at the AGM) and that British riders get a 2.5% reduction masters - 9.03 Sarjeant - 3.90 Barker- 7.06 Pickering - 6.98 R. Worrall - 8.04 W.Lawson - 3.81 Coles or another - 2.18 total - 41.00 (with 2.18 or 40.82 with 2.00) you could also have kyle howarth on 6.98 in place of barker which would give slightly more for the reserves. There wasn't a rule of needing a 2 pointer...

Mr Blobby
Happily have a reserve pairing of Lawson and Sarjeant if possible.

I think Glasgow would love that pairing........in the Monarchs 1-7. Two riders unlikely to improve much if any. After this year, I’d be astonished if Edinburgh went down such a week route. You just need to have a misfiring number one, as was the case with Wells this year, and you’ve no back up.

Lawson not exactly the worst number 7 you could have. masters is in a different class to wells so won’t have that problem.

But Sarjeant helping at home won’t get you a league win. Btw, no one want Heeps back? Or have I missed he’s gone elsewhere?
Fenway Bleachers
The Cook / Masters clashes at the dale next season should be worth the price of admission on their own. No problems with having a big hitter to lead the team, as 2014 proved, that is more important than reserves who can score heavily......in the playoffs at least. Heeps wanted to return but numbers game unfortunately has stopped it happening.
