Bagpuss
Three months until the season starts, a lot can change in that time and probably will. Ultimately though whatever Poland decides is what everyone else will have to abide by.

Good to see him get a team though. Think he may also be a rising star as on the list I have seen he is classed as a 4*
Dandelion
Drew will be the number 7, but for some obscure reason they all need to be announced at once next week, so Ipswich have to unannounce him to reannounce him again later

dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
For Ipswich it's not unusual to give a couple of young Brits ago - whilst for some others they have always seemed to see it as an inconvenience..... Dandelion
How come Jason Crump's average has gone from 8.21 last week to 8.00 this week? Conveniently to drop Ipswich JUST under the average limit? 1. Jason Crump 8.00 2. Jordan Stewart 4.00 3. Danny King 6.66 4. Cameron Heeps 6.30 5. Nicolai Klindt 7.43 6. Anders Rowe 3.00 7. Drew Kemp (3*) Total: 35.39 Edited February 4, 2021 by Dandelion

Some CL teams have 2 or 3. The crucial bit is that you have to have one at No 7 in 2021 and two at 6 and 7 in 2022. They have to start at 7 but if their actual average increases they move up and down the team You have to signify one as your Rising Star at start of season that's all. Ipswich have no doubt decided that tactically Kemp is at this stage a better rider to have at No 7 than Rowe.

Yes, I am aware, I was trying to point out to other people that a team can have as many rising stars as they like, the more the better tbh, but one of them has to be at 7 and the other can fit wherever their average dictates

A rider that hasn't ridden for a period of time (not just 1 year away) gets their average reassessed. So in Crump's case he was reassessed at 8.21 for having many years away for the 2020 season. As its been an extra year away his average now gets another reduction. Paul Hurrys average for the 2020 season would have been more than for 2021, Bjarne Pedersen the same. BP and Crump have both been away long enough to get reassessed, but don't qualify for an additional reduction for missing a year. Most obviously Crump rode in the British Final last year and Bjarne has ridden every season since he left Poole.

Crump's 8.21 ave was given for not competing since 2009, (10 years away) so a further reduction was given as he has now missed 11 years. Pedersen on the other hand has just not ridden in the UK, so his 2021 starting ave could actually be reassessed to a higher or lower figure.
