If 5000 turn out at Mildenhall and there is a feeling at that point that something else is needed then it can be arranged at end of the season. Best as you say to make it an annual Event as long as there is a feeling that's what's wanted.
Falcon1983
5,000 would be a great turnout plus with all the online donations etc. What usually happens with these meetings that over time they tend to be less supported, not because of what the cause is about or who its for, but they just tend to dwindle, and Danny doesn't deserve that - he deserves a one-off showpiece event with a packed crowd, I am sure the money raised will be a big amount. Do they still have the mini track at Mildenhall? Not been in years but will be doing everything to get to this meeting. think 1989/90 may have been the last time i went

I hope its the case though, the more money raised for Danny's family the better, when I met Jodie I thought she was a lovely person and deserves all the help she can get at this time. ( Mildenhall doesn't have a mini trackany more, the centre green was raised and grassed over a while back ) Edited February 10, 2020 by Super Blue

Baldyman
To me it looks to ride a lot smaller now, and looks so much slicker,,,,,, but that's probably the laydowns effect. Wow,,, if only all races were like that,,,,, that's why most of us love a balls out trier. Edited February 10, 2020 by Baldyman

The airfence makes the corners ride a lot narrower doesn’t it

I think the track is smaller now, no sign of the old greyhound track in the video.
Super Blue
Only just caught up on this, as a regular at Mildy I can pretty much confirm that the racing in the video was where the Dog track is and the current track is a hell of a lot shorter hence the 49 point something track record. Baldyman
That mildy track looked like it was good,,,, would be very happy if the new banking at Foxhall provided racing even half that good. Having said that,,, a lot of good races are often down to who is involved. If for example all races at Foxhall had Ben Howe, loram Louis and Gollob in them,,, most would be good.
Bagpuss
I’ve hardly been since they’ve been back in the third division but I was a regular at Mildenhall 2006-08 in the Premier League days and some of the racing was superb. It’s a great little track when prepared properly.

kevin bass
Know what your saying pinny, Ben Howe was worth the entrance money alone and luckily couldn't gate for toffee's so was always good entertainment, a group of us used to sponsor Ben back in the day and i still say to this day if he had of had the backing Sal got he would of gone haps a lot further in the sport.
