Just banter Col.....

Anyway, I think we have a team that offers a lot of hope, potential and entertainment.... I for one couldn't be happier!

Hope they get the track sorted with the team you got it will need a good bit of dirt on the outside that's for sure .

The outside will work later in the meeting, more important to keep the inside grippy. Shanes passes mostly on the inside & Castagne refuses to venture far from it!

If it's to grippy on the inside then Paco will struggle and a few others to. Like I've said Harris and riss will want grip on the outside from the off. That's fact.

I would expect Harris & Riss to be able to ride the track no matter what the conditions, I'd worry about Shanes & Castagne more.

All I'm saying is what will be needed for the whole team to perform better as a team, and give the fans what they want and  that's exciting racing?

It makes one wonder what security is in place for the whole site not just the Speedway, gone are the days where alarms are sufficient, these people that do these things are aware its rare to see the boys in blue so they have more or less a free hand to do as they wish without with little or no chance of being caught.

Whilst majorly unhelpful to the overall cause i guess the stadium break in didn't directly affect the Speedway side until the last spate of petty vandalism/arson that destroyed much needed equipment. The difficultly in replacing specialist items must be the harder task rather than the financing of items (theres barely a bowser in the country worth more than a couple of grand) despite the inevitable hint f needing to raise funds. I know all clubs are in a precarious position at the start of the season but comments like this do nothing but cast doubt over the viability of the project

Think you will find nearly all the break ins have been on the speedway side and from what I've heard it was the water wagon which was not only used for watering it was used for packing the track so a very useful tool.  And if the tractors have been burned then it will cost a good amount of money.  As you don't get half good tractors for a few grand these days.

I didn't read the press release as all affecting the speedway side but that doesn't mean its not the case. The water bowser that Brum had was certainly a useful tool and well suited in size for the multiple tasks it performed. It will be both tricky to replace and also scary as if these oiks continue operate outside the law thee is the fear than any replacements could be destroyed too. There are plenty of solutions to the issue i can think of but hardly any of the legal.
