100%

We've had no luck at all and just coming to tapes in 2021 will be a win!

If we can stabilise and build a team for 2022 the future will look a lot brighter and Birmingham and Brummies are going to be right at the heart of all of the Commonwealth Games news and lots of positive press attention.

We need to find a No 1 who is affordable and not a huge risk financially and hopefully not 40 plus.

With their close links to the South East, I do wonder if Lewis Bridger will find his way to Perry Barr at some point. He has said in several articles he doesn't want to commit to CL yet, he seems to be keeping options open though and if he starts well at Kings Lynn, who knows.

Peter and David deserve the 100% of all of us.

Why have your not had any luck?

not had luck with injuries over past few completed seasons , Shanes and Morris both flying in to great form before getting injured.

let down badly by a few riders, Garrity (no need to go there it's obvious) Johansson (however you spell it) pulled out after agreeing for 2020.

shame we could not have secured Adam Ellis but attraction of initially Danish spot on a Wednesday and since 2019 swedish and polish leagues, not adams fault at all but timing again just did us.

Couple of promising Danes didn't come off and probably released Newman and Hulme too soon.

Like I've said think you're team will end up way under the points limit not riders out there who are willing to ride over here on the average you have left .

I was wondering whether Hans Andersen might be a possibility to fill the final place in the Brummies line up.

I don't know what other commitments Hans has for 2021, but with Bjarne Pedersen being in the Peterboro and Plymouth teams, Hans must be a good option.

Being at tapes in 2021 is no more fortunate for Brummies than any other team & I'm sure absolutely every other championship team will field a stronger line-up than Birmingham who have had my season ticket money for 16 months!

I'd really love the final rider to make the team competitive but I just can't see it happening.

Harris, Morris, Castagne & Shanes signings fine. Basis of a decent team, it's what you put around them. Thomas fine... If you sign two riders above Morris in the averages... Another second string, fine if you plan to have Harris as second heat leader... It could still happen, I just don't see it.

Surely BWD is nailed on for you guys? Not many places remaining in either league and he's stated on social media he is coming across.

Brum look the only team in this division that can fit him in and he's definitely stated he's riding in the UK this coming season..

BWD is a nice enough lad but he has only changed his mind because of the dollary-doos. Demands for equipment will either be high or he will arrive with sub-standard gear. Guarantees are dangerous deals as many have taken clubs to the cleaners with minimal effort. I hope im wildly wrong but i would hate to see Brum in trouble again out of desperation to get a decent number 1 to bolster a very average side.

I think most CL teams look average to me.....so I'm not too bothered about an 'average' tag....it is better than the starting line-up we had in season 2019 imo (obviously the last piece will sway the scales....)

Apart from VG (unkown quantity) I think most 'Brummie' fans will welcome the other 5 with open arms.

Paco,James,Ashley and Chris are all fans favourites......Thomas won a British U19 Semi-Final at PB, so he should go well at reserve.
