I wonder what possible legalities MIGHT be breached in regard to the Garritty case. Like it or not he hasn't been proven guilty as charged in a court. If he is found NOT guilty as charged the BSF might - and I surmise this - be facing an action for substantial damages.

On what grounds?

Just off the top of my head ... that once someone is charged then the case becomes sub judice. Anything discussed that may affect the outcome of the trial or interferes with the selection of unbiased jury members - depending where any trial is heard. Also the possibility of slander/libel if he was not charged/found not guilty.

Don’t think many would be losing sleep over what has been said on BSF.

THE third instalment of 'Brummies in Your Living Room' will go live on Wednesday night (April 29).

Following on from the success of the Edinburgh and Sheffield meeting broadcasts , the next fixture coming your way is the Brummies' Championship clash with Newcastle from June 2019.

In association with ReRun Productions, the full meeting will be available online.

The link to view the meeting will be posted on the club's Website, Twitter and Facebook pages at 7.30 - and the action from Perry Barr will again be streamed into your living rooms.

Brummies Team Manager Laurence Rogers said: "The first two re-runs have proved very popular indeed and I think it's good we're able to keep giving people their Speedway fix.

"This Wednesday we've got the Newcastle fixture - and again this was a terrific meeting.

"I think even the neutral supporter will want to feast their eyes on this one as not only was it another intriguing contest but some of the racing that night was first class."

Note: Supporters will only be able to view the meeting by clicking on the links directly or by typing the link details precisely into their SmartTV internet browser.

Can't someone ask for some 'nostalgic' meetings please? 2019 doesn't really make for great viewing....apologies if one sounds ungrateful....just 'need' entertaining whilst in lockdown : )

Happy to debate this suggestion if anyone's as bored as I am ? LOL

BIRMINGHAM bosses have been delighted with the popularity of their Wednesday night fixture rewinds - and they're set to continue for the foreseeable future.
Each of the three online streams so far have had an encouraging view count and the fourth instalment is heading supporters' way this Wednesday (May 6).
And seeing as the Brummies should've been hosting Eastbourne at Perry Barr this week, the latest broadcast will revisit last August's Championship clash against the Eagles in the second city.

In association with ReRun Productions, the link to view the meeting will be posted on the club's Website, Twitter and Facebook pages at 7.30 prompt.
Brummies team manager Laurence Rogers said: "We've been really pleased with the number of people who've been tuning in to watch these old meetings on a Wednesday night.
"It's great to see how much our supporters are enjoying them and it's nice reading their comments and memories about each fixture afterwards as well.
"Obviously we're all playing the same waiting game right now and we're all itching to get back trackside.
"But until it's safe for us to do so then we intend to keep streaming a fixture each and every Wednesday.
"We've got a few more we want to look back on from last season that are already available to us first, but we may well also explore the possibility of getting our hands on some older fixtures should we need them."

Worth having a word with Jan Staechmann to see if he's prepared to let some of his Classic Speedway Video library be shown? I'm sure there's action from old Perry Barr and Wheels in there. Apologies for the commentary if they are there ;-)

We're back on Wednesday with speedway action from 2019 ...
‪BIRMINGHAM'S 2019 Perry Barr thriller with Scunthorpe will be broadcast this Wednesday night (May 13, 7.30).‬
The two sides met in the second city last September - just three weeks after the Brummies battled to earn a draw in North Lincolnshire.
And another close contest was anticipated this time around with the visitors including three ex-Birmingham riders in their line-up.
In association with ReRun Productions, the link to view the meeting will be posted on the club's Website, Twitter and Facebook pages on Wednesday at 7.30 prompt - so make sure to refresh your feeds at that time and see how this one panned out!
