Don't think Batch wants to do the European leagues at the moment as he has a very young UK-based family.  Maybe Sheffield and doubling down in the Championship - although goodness knows what his converted Championship average would be?;)

Also wonder if Bridger would also want to do the championship along with top flight if he decides to return :)

I think Bridger is well and truly retired by now. For one thing he retired with a nasty neck injury that will probably trouble him for the rest of his life and he knows another knock could be very serious, and secondly his heart was never really in the sport during his last 2/3 years when he was distracted by his turbulent personal life.

As we all know speedway is dangerous enough as it is but even more so if you can’t commit 100%. I like Lewis, but he is his own worst enemy, and I hope for his sake he stays retired.

Bit of a shock, but if he signs for Lynn i for one will give him a chance to prove he has changed his ways a bit.4 years out is a long while and this may have re-kindled his love of the sport he had as a youngster.Undoubtedly he had great talent and if he came in at a low enough average say for reserve it could be a great coup for any team.He could also not be a great coup, time will tell i suppose .But i think he deserves every chance like most of us do at some point in our lives. And i am not a Bridger fan,but he could change my mind.

I think we are going to get more and more of this in light of COVID and Poland.....clubs are going to prefer UK based riders who will prioritise our domestic racing and not spend money flying European riders in and out.

Another shock announcement of a Aussie making a come back in the following days!

Who could that be?

A shock i would say Parker,Johnston,Sullivan,Watt.

Not so much a shock Smith,North,Skidmore. All mainly due to age,but Crump  has shown that to be irrelevant really.

So assuming Bridger signs Lynn will presumably line up like this

Cook

Riss

Jorgensen

Kerr

Proctor

Bridger

While the priority should be to get the league up and running again I wonder if this is an indication of team strengths this season?
