No wonder fans have walked away from a Micky Mouse club. To boot the club must be loosing a fortune and clueless Chapman hopes an estate agent will save them, IMO he’s not got a chance. Remember when we last appointed a bit of a fan and won quite a bit.Use to stuff one of your teams on a regular basis. One being a 75-15 remember that one, think you must still be upset about that. Not bad having a bit of a fan in charge.Time will tell obviously, but not expecting anything from him this season anyway with the team he has been handed. Hackett
Perhaps the new manager is hoping he can get a few short term letting deals with riders.

Definitely having a dig which is fine by me Edited July 20, 2021 by Haza

Your a true speedway fan, by the sounds of it .Crowds have been pretty good apart from the TV meeting. Loosing a fortune lol. It's Busters, it's free. It's a multi use venue...... You seriously can not defend the incompetence of Chapman both at KL and as Chairman of the BSPA. He’s been useless and reckless and has run the sport into the ground. He's operating a micky mouse underachieving club and has proved conclusively that he is clueless. Anyway regarding racing we’ll soon see how your bit of a fan manager performs tomorrow. No matter who wins it will be interesting and will surely bring in many fans just to watch the World Famous BV Aces. Good luck. 1
The Dog
Whether the new manager is a fan or not, it's how the riders respond to him. Some of the best managers in the world never get their riders to perform so it's worth a shot surely. Didn't Ipswich use their photographer one year as team manager not so long ago? 1
semion
The one positive could when a new man arrives at the helm you tend to see a New Manager ‘bounce’. So watch Belle Vue

Well if you think one man has run speedway into the ground that's your opinion.Personally I think speedway in the UK has been on the decline since the 90's.To many things for people to do since then.If it was an easy ride to be the chairman we would have seen Ford there by now.It is a poisoned chalice at the moment and who ever has the job will get lambasted for any decisions. But at the end of the day I thought it was a committee that made decisions collectively not just one person.

Chapman & Godfrey tried to implement 100's of changes for the future but you do realise that final votes go through all voting promoters & the SCB. I'm not Chapman's biggest fan but you do realise that it doesn't matter who the Chairman & Vice-Chaiman are they're at a lose already?? The blame lies with all voting promoter's & SCB. Don't be so deluded.

Don't be so deluded. It is a fact that under Chapman and the equally useless clown prince Godfrey divisive ‘dictatorship’ they oversaw the biggest fall in crowds and the demise of a number of clubs. He also wasted all the ‘rainy day’ funds on paying out wrongly sacked management staff and the bizarre engine fiasco that cost the BSPA hundreds of thousands of pounds. Again, all these issues were voted through by the boards. Similarly the Anlas tyre fiasco this season. Suppose this is Chapman's fault too?? Get ya head out ua a$$ & realise the issues overall are not down to a single person. Edited July 21, 2021 by Daniel Smith

I know this is the least of British Speedway' problems, but Jesus H Christ, it doesn't half make the sport look amateur. Where in any other sport would you see a bloody sponsor become the manager of a so called 'top level' team? Well . Made a bit of a fool of myself there then! Certainly not first and won't be last time.

I no the line has to be drawn somewhere on letting people in free obviously but I personally think Roger has been put on the wrong side of the line . I don't have a clue if he pays BUT if he does pay it's probably because he wants to.
