Have a link for the podcast?

If it's a recent (in the last 2 months) I'd say that the "ongoing deal" is the negotiations for a buy back

I must certainly do ! as per when i originally posted the link on November 7th on the Ipswich 2020 thread.

Try the link below at 4.00 minutes in , Louis takes about the proposed sale which hasn't happened yet !

https://www.ipswichstar.co.uk/sport/speedway/louis-looks-ahead-to-play-offs-and-back-on-the-season-1-6285927

Sounds like talks took place but no deal was ever signed so i will say again IMO the sale hasn't gone through . How can Uncle Buster be part of something it the deal wasn't signed ?

Or do things work differently across the border ?

It seems Chapman never completed any deal that was initially discussed for Ipswich - no buy back was required

Think it is now generally accepted that for whatever reason the sale of Ipswich to Chapman never went through. For which  I am sure Ipswich fans will be eternally thankful

Whoever owns it Buster had massive influence on the team as Ipswich were forced to have Harris.

Massive Influence yes got to agree on that , but own the club nope didn't happen :nono:.

You never know it might still happen but at this point in time Louis still owns it, and who's to say that if the club is to be sold that it will be Uncle Buster this time around ?

Think it was the other way round, that and Tungate being Persona Non Grata in certain quarters

You expect official! Tungate doesn't like Ipswich or Ipswich don't like Tungate or both so Harris had to go to Ipswich whether he liked it or not.

The feelings are definitely mutual between both parties.

Most realistic sort of team we will get:

Robert Lambert (7.81)

Lewis Kerr (5.57)

Erik Riss (6.61)

Michael Palm Toft (6.30)

Craig Cook (7.78)

Ty Proctor (4.43)

? (4.00)

Total = 42.50

Correct me if I’m wrong with the averages!

Or

The team I would like to see

Robert Lambert (7.81)

Nick Morris (5.38)

Erik Riss (6.61)

Chris Harris (6.16)

Craig Cook (7.78)

Ty Proctor (4.43)

? (4.33)

Total = 42.50

What do you guys think?

Morris and proctor can both better their averages last season may not of been their greatest seasons but I think those averages they’re on is a bargain, could also say the same about bomber. Lambert, Cook and Riss is a must for this season! Couldn’t think of anybody for number 7 maybe a fairly young up and coming rider?? Or an experienced guy like THJ on a 4.18 average??

It's good news that chapman never got his hands on Ipswich we'll leave him to concentrate on Kings Lynn.... The other good this is that Louis is free to talk to Eric Ross and bring him over the border

:-)

you wish

KL take some beating with theirs though. Swindon and Sheffield give you 24 hours, Poole are giving 48 hours notice. But KL make you wait nearly a week!! :o

The pace of life in Norfolk is something to behold ;)
