no he isn't !!far from it ask anyone who would you choose in straight choice for your team !! i'll leave it there !!

I presume you know what ‘atm’ means in that context?

The averages say that Wright is currently the better rider of the two and he is British champion after all. Considering their ages it’s likely that Bewley will end up the better rider but right now he isn’t.

And hypothetically  if it was me choosing for 2020 it would be Wright over Bewley without doubt.

enough said !! not much to say about that  then again wright is the  better gater of the two so around gaters paradise lynn he would do better  anyway there will be no straight choice because both will be team mates !!

How about having a proper discussion without being a silly bully for once?

And yes we all know they will be teammates but you are the one who said ‘ask anyone who would you choose in straight choice for your team !! i'll leave it there !!

2-0 Wright so far.

But if Bewley has the higher average in October then he will be the better rider in October, not ‘atm’ ie right now......

why has dan got polish & swedish teams in top leagues and charles hasn't ?? suspect because they think dan is the better rider eh ?? or should they have signed charles because his average is 0.37 higher ?? averages are just that average and if we had a grading system dan would be higher grade !!

Remember when Doyle was a PL heat leader and youngsters like Bridger had Polish team places? Now where are they? Bewley is probably going to turn out better but right now Wright is better, probably not much longer but right now he is.

Dan's average last year was very much affected by his serious injuries in 2018. Remember that nobody expected him to be back as soon as he was.

Even then the difference between him and Wright was about a third of a point. Given a choice between the two it would be Dan for me.  He is a better long term prospect and he will do better than Wright next year. Fortunately, we may have both in the team.

If we are talking about atm then Dan is doing doing better than Charles in Australia.

he will be heat leader after 1st month if we are signing wright ??

Will be little to choose in that questuon.

You can only go on current form and Charles is the better rider right now.

In the long term no doubt Dan will go further

I think Charles Wright is a seriously underated rider and he will be a great signing for the Aces.Bewley is a real talent and for me for him to realise his full potential he needs to stay with the Aces ie) in all of his Premiership career.Last year he bounced back after horrific injuries and was just getting back into the swing of thing's  again.I saw him ride  against Swindon in the cup final and when the NSS  dried out a bit and created new lines Dan was unbelievable.Belle Vue with a core of Kurtz, Bewley, Wright, Lidsey to build around look to have exciting times around the corner.

To be fair this last season in the 3 meetings at P/Bourgh Charles and Dan only met once and that resulted in both riders coming together and both retiring from the meeting, In 3 meetings at Belle Vue, Dan beat Charles twice and was leading on the 3rd occasion before retiring with E/F. At the end of the day Charles is a local lad and rides the NSS extremely well as was shown when he won the British title this year, if he has/does ride for us this next season I and I'm pretty sure all Belle Vue fans will welcome him with open arms.

Not quite certain why we are arguing about who is the best rider between Dan and Charles....

they are good assets to have in our team.

It's quite astonishing that people can't get through the day without trivial arguments in their lives

think you should stick to championship racing !!  haven't seen charles signed for any polish or swedish top league teams unlike dan has !! perhaps their promoters don't know what they are doing

Perhaps you might take the time to read up before making such comments.

Wright had a team in Poland, scored well for them, but they didn't pay him so he stopped going. ( like many Premiership riders) He's still owed thousands so once bitten twice shy!

You are probably right but sometimes when people write garbage it’s necessary to counter that opinion with something much closer to reality.

Might also be a good idea to move to a different thread and ignore ‘trivial arguments’ if you don’t want to get involved in them, that’s usually what I do.

Actually, I thought it was quite a good reasoned discussion. I agree that the two riders are not just good for Belle Vue but as future internationals as well. For those of us that don't see them on a regular basis, it's interesting to know their progress and relative skills. Not to mention Dan's continued improvement after his injury.

I would be very happy to have both in my team...
