Lefty
If we had still been on 2 valve JAP''s and no dirt deflectors would the meeting have gone ahead?

They didn’t change the Poole vs Ipswich meetings round when rain intervened. A massive advantage now for Wolves having the 2nd leg at home. Why wait until October every season to have the play offs as do Sweden & Poland wait till then. No they don’t. Hope the Robins win but with both sides having flakey riders at times I give Wolves strength at reserve the crucial difference. You can quit your whinging, you've got the second leg now. Shall we say that whoever wins on aggregate deserves it ?

Neither is Thursday, may as well seed the second placed team straight to the final.. Edited October 3, 2019 by noggin
thecoombdog
The play offs will be cancelled as this semi final will never happen and Poole will be crowned Champions as they finished top. 2

Any people enjoy us running matches in October...…..The season should finish by Mid September & I see no arguments to go against that.

Lefty
What comes first: Speedway Play Off Grand Final or Brexit?
2ndbendbeerhut
Couple of ideas.... Ipswich win play offs as only team that have qualified for final.... Poole win the title as league winners Or Poole v Ipswich final as Poole league winners and Ipswich play off finalists. (Bit like in golf when you hit a 2nd tee shot im case you can't find the 1st in the rough) Or single Play Off Final at a neutral venue e.g. Peterboro (afterall not as though Buster will allow it to be at the National Speedway Stadium)
Call me wolfie
How about someone actually looks at the forecast and schedules the meetings for dry days, instead of hoping the forecast will change

Too many variables.
Steve Shovlar
Sensible call the rain band has widened and wont miss. Swindon could have lost tonight had it gone ahead with Batchelor throwing a wobbler.
Ovalman
Swindon have already won a cup..so just give it to Ipswich

I seem to remember the 2017 semi at BV being rained off a few times and in the end going ahead without tv coverage

Bunce
So what has happened to the Ipswich v TBC meeting that was originally scheduled for the 10th ?
Speedy swindon pete
Annoying but probably the best decision. Bet the track is soaked as it is already. Started raining in Swindon already. Way ahead of forecast.
