Lefty
We're playoffs earlier when there was an October GP in Australia?

Aussie GPs were held 2015-2017 and the overall dates were: 2013 - 7/10 and 15/10 2014 - 17/10 and 20/10 2015 - 28/9 and 30/9 2016 - 3/10 and 5/10 2017 - 2/10 and 4/10 2018 - 8/10 and 10/10 2019 - ??? 2014 was very late, 2015 early, but the rest of the dates are pretty close Edited October 2, 2019 by Wee Eck Typo

Starman2006
I fancy Wolves to win this over two legs. I Feel if everybody rides to there full potential they have the slightly better strength in depth

Steve Shovlar
If the track gets wet before the start it will favour the away team and take away home advantage. Light rain/drizzle expected around 6pm from Met Office.
Richard Crowley
If you can't make it to the Abbey tonight & don't have access to BT Sport, you can tune in to full coverage of Swindon v Wolverhampton in the 1st leg of the Premiership playoff semi-finals on BBC Wiltshire. Weâre on air from 7pm on 103.6FM in Swindon and on the BBC Sounds app: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/live:bbc_radio_wiltshire

thecoombdog
The rain is coming! I know no one can predict the rain in October but iot 1 hour ago, foreverblue said: Canât see them keeping it close and Batchelor will struggle to beat Thorsell and Masters at Monmore but this meeting Swindon should win fairly comfortably. We need to win it fairly comfortably to have a chance of going through!! I don't know why but I can see us getting a whooping in the 2nd leg.

mike1944
Cannot see this meeting getting off the ground tonight looking at various weather forecasts. Even if they do start the meeting the usual faffing about at the start and 10,000 mile servicing of the bikes after numerous false starts will just result in the the track getting wetter and wetter and ready for yet another call-off. It might only be light rain or drizzle forecast around 6 pm but it is what is forecast between 7.30 and 9.30 and it does not look like drizzle to me. But we live in hope. Speedy swindon pete
Shame this one looks to be in the lap of the weather gods. In decent weather and the track prepared as well as it has been a lot of the time this season, this match would be an absolute corker. You can imagine the rain playing havoc with the visibility at best and the track as the meeting progresses, though. Throw in a few jumps at the tapes and general faffing, it could be a frustrating evening. I had some friends interested coming to their first meeting tonight, but Iâll probably recommend they save it for tonight as I donât want to run the risk of going home disappointed after just 7 heats of crap speedway.
