Found one. It does look a bit dangerous, if i'm being honest. Could get handlebars and elbows caught in it. Looks good though. Upright Speedway@UprightSpeedway - I saw @jeffdavies170 photo of @BomberHarris37's new bike. Gotta say I wasn't keen on the overall look so I changed a couple of things with photoshop. It's definitely looking better now

newlynboy
Hi, sorry for a silly question in such tough times. I have been watching old videos on YouTube from the 70's and 80's of the panthers. I remember in about 1979 or 1980 a British championship 1/4 final at the showground that was won by Andy Hines with a maximum. There was a panthers rider at reserve who scored 7 pts from 3 rides but I cannot remember who. Ian barney? Adrian pepper? Adrian smith? And buck? For thoses with long memories, can somebody tell me who it was? Thank you.

Thanks. I did find the Wills Internationale of '79 this morning, but Panthers is a different kettle fish. I have got Panthers '95 DVD including the infamous Ben Howe, Ronni Pedersen, and Donkey episode. Worth looking at again

Proper derby stuff, even if dangerous; but there aren't the characters ( and they had to be bad, in a nice way, like Jack Millen ) about nowadays to get the crowds in.

scoobydoo
Rye House & Mildenhall were early pioneers of team leathers wonder how many speedway fans of that era thought it would actually catch on. newlynboy
Hi, found the rye house match and it suggested mildenhall away, then a match from 1986. Just luck
scoobydoo
Watched Mildenhall v Peterborough few days ago Mick Hines got so much stick that day from the fen tigers fans but it didnt help him racing in his tigers colours with a panther on his chest. Fish and Chips always made the trips to west row more enjoyable.
