I asked Richard about the track and how it was last night against the last time time he was down here and the reply was better. CitizenTyler
I’m posting this up again as it got bumped back whilst it was waiting to be approved for moderation: Barker will ride for Plymouth next year if approved for the move up
Dickie Head
Championship application rejected at BSPA AGM. No clear reason at this stage. Guess that means another season in the NL.
Frenchie
It appears that they had to withdraw their application due to increased costs and bonds needing to be paid immediately. They are looking to reapply in 12mths time.

Did they know they couldn’t meet the conditions or did the BSPA impose new ones so they could favour Poole and Kent?

25yearfan
The cynic in me suggests Plymouth were turned down to ensure the NL has enough teams in it to be viable?

I think its more about ensuring even numbers in the Championship. If Newcastle drop out, they'll be in (or at least there will be a place for them). Bagpuss
Anything to do with Plymouth’s promoter? Perhaps they feel that they need extra insurance that he can run a club at a higher level.

KevH
As Barker has been confirmed at Somerset, does that mean Plymouths efforts to move into the Championship have been unsuccessful?
