Were some of you lot in the same class as Batchelor at school? both Swindon riders gate and are clear on a 5-1 in the 1st bend. The wolves riders get themselves into trouble riding the same bit of track and cause the stoppage. Why should both come back in for a 2nd go??! Otherwise that just opens the floodgates for team mates to start knocking each other off every time they’re clearly beaten to the first turn. Have a think people. Totally correct. I csn't believe how many people think all 4 should have been back after that, including Kelvin Tatum There is a major difference in two riders from the same team getting in each other's way to when it is opponents. Great win for Swindon but you have to feel for Wolves a bit because of the conditions. Same for both sides though.
Steve Shovlar
Well what a load of rubbish that was. I was a complete neutral here, and didn’t care who won. But it was dire. Yes the rain caused mayhem and made the trickiest track even trickier than usual. But Wolves had the drive and enthusiasm of their manager Peter Adams, who’s passion was clearly absent. Clearly he has had his day. Well done Swindon. All very easy. Wolves had no fight whatsoever, other than young Becker and Schlein.

Still a no threat side easily turned over a choking Poole side. Happy days. They got lucky with the conditions. Poole would have had 60+ had it not rained and played into the away sides hands. Ipswich are zero threat to Swindon in the final. Two easy wins, just like tonight was for them.
stevebrum
The expected result the minute the cameras showed the track drenched. Fair play to Swindon who did what any away side would do. A 10 point away win should be enough however let’s hope for a wet 2nd leg to even it up. Advantage Robins tho right now. Rory and Luke at least gave 110%, 2 out of 7 not good enough. Natalie just saying praying for good weather tomorrow. Wolves fans will want equally appalling conditions to level it up.

Speedy swindon pete
Well done to the robins tonight. 10 pt lead to take home is probably 16-18 more than we might have expected normally, so we should be delighted. However, if the track is in similar condition tomorrow, there’s a massive danger that something similar could happen tomorrow (although it’s hard to see It happening quite to the same extent). We’ve had a lot of rain down here in Swindon tonight, on top of an already very wet track. So we’ll need to be ultra professional tomorrow night. Not sure why the track staff didn’t take the time to blade off the worse of the heavy stuff that had built up on the outside of the track. Just left there, it essentially made the track half the width it usually is, with anything further that mid-track out unrideable. At least if there was less material there it would have made it more useable. Very easy to say sat here at home though, admittedly.

If you are a complete unbiased neutral then you must be one VERY VERY sad Person . Now jog on you dont want your teacher telling you off in the morning . Cant see the conditions making much difference. Been watching Wolves for nearly 30 years and I've never known us be strong on a wet track
