I might think about it at a tenner ( but might still decline ). With the amount of decent races in an average meeting - a fiver is still a bit steep ( at £1 a race )

I’ve never got the appeal of oval car racing personally but you can see from the number of spectators in that video exactly why speedway has to play second fiddle to the stocks and bangers.

I'm going purely on the amount of cars in the car park, and that most certainly wouldn't have been the lowest.Unless of course every car only had one person in it
mrss
Far end car park had more cars in because middle car park was closed due to extra seating in place for stock cars. I thought the crowd was very poor.
Grachan
To be fair, that stock car meeting was, apparently, a World Final. If you had a World Speedway final there you'd get at least a similar crowd.

Crowds for the average stock cars meeting at King's Lynn are quite deceiving to the general public. While it does look far more spectators than Speedway, 20-30% of the crowd are actually the drivers families and mechanics that don't pay to get in. On average, I'd say the stock car crowds are not that much larger, about 200-300 more. As a business though for Buster, with Speedway he has to pay money out, with Stocks money is only coming in. Just on that basis stock cars take priority over Speedway.
