Bloody hell, you should have gone to Weymouth in the 70s!
Steve Shovlar
Poole track is ok now. Not dead flat smooth but good enough. Speedway isn’t raced on tarmac.

Middlo's testimonial was announced by Matt Ford as being the first meeting of 2020.

The fact the club fails to fully explain it is one of the main reasons why the sport finds itself in such a mess and one of the main reasons it struggles to attract any real media coverage and a younger audience. It was in the club's twitter feed with full explanation including the name of the NL rider being drafted in. Lambert to be fined as are the club for fielding an understrength team!

Bagpuss
1 hour ago, lisa-colette said: Certainly not KL!!! That’s one thing it is. It’s too grippy which makes it hard to ride and very difficult to pass but it’s always smooth. In my experience the best race tracks are smooth because riders can race hard and fast and close to eachother without worrying about the track catching them out. 37 minutes ago, lisa-colette said: Interesting that he behaves himself when Lambert isn't there. Nice to see Wells put in a shift tonight with a paid 15 max. All Lynn had to do last night was to use the same excuse as Poole used for Wells and that would have all been fine Edited September 13, 2019 by tellboy
