crazysue
Is there anyone going to this meeting who would be able to text updates to the Updates site? If so, could you please send me a private message which includes your mobile phone number. Thanks

Fenway Bleachers
This is the only CL trophy missing from Cookies cabinet so I think that will motivate him, Sam has a full set , so its Craigs turn to join him. Good luck to everyone who has braved the M6, and M5 carparks........ Triple.H.
Between Glasgow. Somerset or Scunthorpe I reckon and I'll plump for Scunthorpe to do the business.

MD
Well done to Glasgow, sounds a great meeting and a good practice for going to Somerset in the play offs next week.

Cliffeboy
Great meeting with lots of passing, only boring thing was Cook and Jensen head and shoulders above everyone else. Result was a bit of a forgone conclusion. Worst Somerset  showing for a long time . Good crowd as well.
Spiderman1
Scorpians bad luck , ref needs glasses, Somerset favourites were poor
ScunnyDan
Good meeting on a very well prepared track (take note other tracks, dirt and a bit of water and you can produce a good show).. Scunny very unlucky, maybe a race off would have been fairer but it just about sums up our luck in recent seasons. Did think there was some questionable choices made by the tef.. why wasnt the race stopped when both of Jensens wheels went well and truly on the grass bend 2 (heat 17 I believe it was) other than that well done to Glasgow, best pairing on the night. Well done and thank you to the Somerset promotion and track staff and all the riders for putting on a brilliant meeting, 25 races for 20 quid was good value!

Bearing in mind the facilities are designed for their normal attendances. I assume you're a Peterborough fan so mentioning grass banking would be an own goal.

Somerset is what it is a great track, good facilities built out of nothing in the past decade or so. What let it down a bit last night and is feedback to Promoters for the future is the lost opportunity in increased vendors on the tarmac area top of back straight. One burger van, a hot drink stall and 2 stand alone portaloos didn't cut it, nor the late arrival of an ice cream van as the sun set. It was an opportunity lost for 3-4 more food outlets, a mobile bar and a better Toilet arrangement and the space is there. The Car Park that seemed chaos on arrival actually got people out and away reletively quickly. Much good but just a few improvements needed to improve spectator comfort. scoobydoo
Theres a good possibility that it wont be to long in the future that the grass banking at Peterborough has a fence around and a patio layed on it.
kitten2502
I suspect Birmingham Brummies surprised quite a few with their performance - proud of Adam & Tero. Congratulations to the Glasgow pairing on their success.
Triple.H.
I wonder which promoter will be the first to delay the start of a meeting due to late arrival of the ice cream van.
