And thats the reason why SGP should not go to Russia. IMO.

At least they would wait in fairly good weather. Waiting at a border for hours on end in freezing weather can’t be much fun

I get fed up waiting 15 minutes for a bus:rofl:

It's your choice to live in a village...

This global village comes to a standstill when a bus driver spots the traffic queue too late and has to break sharp sending the passengers flying though the bus. End result a few ambulances on the scene and lots more traffic queues. Such is life in the big city

"Russia has been handed a four-year ban from all major sporting events by the World Anti-Doping Agency (Wada)"

If the Russians are banned from the FIM Gladiators series it`ll make for a very open Individual & SoN series. If that is the case then I suggest Sweden for the Team Event & any of the Swedes over a shortened 3 event series as 2 events are in Russia.

See the thread in the SGP section. Russians are allowed to compete. No problems, even as a team. The team won’t be allowed to be called Russia though if FIM are under WADA regs Even in Events staged on Russia it most probably only effects new contracts. If a contract is legally binding then they aren’t asking promoters/ international bodies to get themselves into legal trouble and they certainly ain’t going to help out with funds !!!! This seems to be the situation with the F1 GP in Russia

And Castagna basically confirms what I posted yesterday. GPs etc go ahead in Russia as planned

Another one of those stories.......someone wanted to do a little ice speedway exhibition show with Markus Jell and Celina Liebmann at a small skating rink on the 27th of this month in Bavaria. Printed leaflets out to promote it, only trouble is they hadn't asked the council for permission/permit. The council found out and put a stop to it and also said don't bother applying for permission.  Ice speedway is too noisy and dangerous and doesn't fit the image of the town !!!!
