DutchGrasstrack
They are thinking to change the company that is handeling the tickets for them, that's why it's taking longer then usually.
Schwantz34
Thanks Dutch Grass track, I seem to remember last year that there was nothing for a long time and then when they went on sale all the good seats were gone. I have to say the organisers for tickets at Inzell are exceptional, every request I've made ie for front row of whatever section, has been granted. And my travels will hopefully take me to Berlin, Inzell and Heerenveen, but I hope to get to Lodz if possible (thats if the European Final is definite). Conkers
The FIM have tweeted the provisional calendar again, so it must be getting close to confirmation. Have a look here: FIM EDIT: They confirmed it today in another Tweet. DutchGrasstrack
Don’t think anything will change in that provisional calendar. I fly out to Russia at the end of December for the first bit of racing of the new season for me

It's not realy Lodz, but Tomaszów Mazowiecki which is close to Lodz. Date should be 21-22.03.

FIM Europe confirmed the date today as 21-22/3/20 (along with all the other Speedway Meetings) According to my Sat Nav Tomaszów Mazowiecki is about an hours drive from Lodz Airport. iris123
Markus Jell, currently training with a number of riders in Kamensk. Had to wait 31 hours for all the paper work before he could get over the Russian border!!! https://www.speedweek.com/eisspeedway-racing/news/152496/Markus-Jell-Wurde-nicht-von-Anfragen-ueberrannt.html?fbclid=IwAR0i3mPCcfHxwAE6rbNf0B2YowKvCx0hm7uFC4yIzOqOWJCeMV0qRfv8J-U#.XeDPriU23HQ.facebook
Schwantz34
I've got huge admiration for the skill these riders have on their bikes, but my god have I got admiration for the patience and resolve of the western Europeans at the Russian border.

Kai Lehtinen missed his European ice racing final a few years back because he did not have the correct insurance papers for his ice racing bike... When the U21 final was in Russia, bikes were seized at the border. For the GP challenge riders travelled with engines only and rented local frames for their number one meeting of the season. It's just not right.
