DutchGrasstrack
He rode one heat on the second day of Berlin and then retired from racing. There are some rumours though......
Schwantz34
I've watched some of the FIM TV highlights and it seems to be a foot injury, given his form before it though hopefully the rumours are about a return!! Next question, I read somewhere that Jimmy Olsen was banned due to weed being found in his system. Does he intend to return when the ban is up? Thats a reason for an act like that. For Bavarian, AAR was the best Finn at the Nordics and said at an interview that this was his first chance to come back from his injuries.
iris123
See there is a bit of panic about Inzell, after the Health Minister recommended all events with more than a 1,000 people attending should be cancelled !! https://www.sueddeutsche.de/politik/coronavirus-spahn-grossveranstaltungen-1.4836673

Do you know what injury he suffered in that crash? To be perfectly honest I can't remember what he did, but he didn't ride on Day 2 and withdrew from the series. Apparently there was gossip about this scenario already in Berlin.
iris123
Has an inevitability about it. He has just passed the pressure onto the local politicians and of course local promoters. Will have to see what happens over the next couple of days with football etc
Schwantz34
Slightly nervous about Heerenveen too, it would soften the blow a bit if there was some kind of TV coverage of the European rounds but it would seem tv fim are only leaving the best shot clips of the 2020 season to view on YouTube

iris123
They are looking at a solution on what to do for those with tickets, but ask people to wait for information rather than bombard them with emails etc Edited March 9, 2020 by iris123
Mr Ore
Just received my Email confirming. Oh well, Red Bull v Rapid Wien on Sunday and SAK 1914 v FC Pinzgau Saalfelden on Saturday here we come. and another Mozart Concert or two, thrown in. Time to do the remaining breweries too. Third visit to Salzburg for Ice Speedway and third time it's been called off with two thaws at St. Johann seemingly avoided this time, with the security of an artificial track. At least we saw shale stuff at Pocking on our first visit. Ironically we forewent the Polish event because of the clash with Mothering Sunday, that'll teach us. Still brown stuff happens so happy to get on with life. Salzburg is too nice a city to be miserable in.
Conkers
I've just spoken to the Heerenveen Press Officer, who tells me there are no indications of a possible cancellation, but they will follow the instructions of the authorities. So at this stage it's still on.
iris123
It is very flexible, but I would say signs are it could well be called off with the rapid spread of the virus and the pressure that one country after another are taking radical action..... https://www.dutchnews.nl/news/2020/03/number-of-dutch-coronavirus-patients-rises-to-321-no-school-for-thousands/ See there is now one of those FB posts encouraging people to donate their ticket money and not ask for a refund, because Inzell 2021 might be in danger if you ask for your money back......... Conkers
The FIM Website says that the X-Trial Des Nations (The indoor Team Trial) in France on April 3 has been cancelled, as the French Government "has communicated that it will not be possible to maintain public events with more than one thousand people in attendance until further notice." So it could be that if the Dutch Government follows suit......
