Bash
Well that was worth coming for total embarrassment thought we would lose but to not win a race and put up a fight hold your heads in shame boys

Why oh why does Louis (supposedly in charge) not do what any right minded individual would do? A sad indictment of how a great name like Ipswich has plummeted in a once decent sport which unfortunately has little credibility left and partly because of one mans ambition to keep a third rate higher division going at any cost. Speedway in this country is not on the same level as most overseas nations and should by now have learnt to plough its own furrow. Each club suffers from irregular weekly speedway which affects the form of many riders (albeit double up helps but also raises the risk profile for a team) fixed race nights are a failure as far as numbers through the gate is concerned (you have the odd exception) and more often than not each meeting is a team of either six men plus Mr R/R thereby short changing the paying public or you have rider select. Little wonder even the stalwarts are walking away. Also rans is how to sum up the witches and they might just as well have a clear out now as they have little else to commend the continuation in the current league structure. Buy in an overseas rider by all means but get rid of the dead wood in the team. Not Busters fault Ippo has tailed off.. They were doing great, with increased crowds I here..

stevebrum
Were Swindon that good or Ipswich that poor? Either way the Witches are really falling quickly.

Ovalman
Total thrashing, could have hit 70. Another good crowd and Swindon go top. Ippo were embarrassing. Vissing won rider of the night. Record Premiership score this season, home and away against the Witches. Go Robins!!! Bit of both. The lack of fight from everyone bar King was a disgrace.
orion
Really poor night .. Ippo put no effort in at all and just gave up .. Riders going off 15 rather than bring in reserves then stopping and not even the doing the whole 4 laps ,, Sad as it was a big crowd I just hope for ippo's sake it's was some kind of plan to drop averages etc . Plus if you lose a reserve you are in the deep stuff Normally yes that would be the case but our NO1 currently is Bomber and the way he's been riding you got to cover him !! Grachan
An enjoyable evening, despite its flaws! Exciting riding from Jensen and Perks, in particular, kept it entertaining. Swindon looked good, but Ipswich were hopeless. How did this team nearly win at Blunsdon last month yet be so bad tonight? Their riders often pulled out of the race when at the back. Too many starts pulled back for me. Surely fast starts like the ones from Musielak and Pieszczek are better left as they are rather than constant restarts. If anyone was keeping an eye on averages tonight, though, I'd say it wasn't Ipswich but Jason Doyle. No idea why Ipswich used Harris as a ts when it was clear that Danny King was the only top 5 Ipswich rider giving Swindon anything to think about up to that point. Did they, perhaps, think they couldn't use King as he'd had an r/r ride? Vissing impressed from reserve and was given a well deserved man of the match. Can't see this Witches side staying in the top four. Wolves look much more threatening. Maybe we should have let Ipswich get a point!
