Edinburgh vs Birmingham 23/8

Recommended Posts

Very disappointed with the side we have. I know Butcher will try his best but its not fair on the lad and his confidence when hes only a 1.5 NL rider. Thomsen only averaged about 2 earlier in the season, so dont understand why hes been bought back if im honest. Bloody hope Garrity rides!!

I know this season is a learning curve but we need to be more competitive at this level next year ( that's if we dont drop back down), at home we have at times but too many times away from home we have had a well below par side.

Hope brum make a go of it.  Few starts and could make for a decent meeting.  Shud be no weather issues so expect a good track.  A comfortable home win expected.

What’s the odds on Garritty making Armadale tonight? Not many Van hire Companies in Uk:D

Did he have a sick note for his van last night ?

Incredible news from Armadale, Jason Garrity has actually made it. Lets hope Jason and his van have a good night.

Shame he made it - he is a liability to himself and others

Bit harsh, he was leading heat 4, when on the last lap, he locked up and came down.  Cameron then hit Garrity's bike which acted as ramp to propel  him through the air, a la Freddie Lindgren. into the air fence.

It looked like CW  might have smashed in to his own handlebars, and it  was subsequently announced as resulting in apparently a possible broken rib.

To be fair it was a simple fall  by Garrity, and nothing reckless about Jason's riding, who immediately went over to apologise to Cam.

Despite the scoreline, there was some decent racing, with Garrity inflicting Masters only defeat in the final race.

Although Garrity's travel problems are a source of irritation and criticism, when he is on his game on the track, he is well worth watching.

Jason getting a lot of unfair stick imo…..we love him at Brum and if there's a rider out there that tries to win every race, regardless of the importance/result, then it's definitely him!

Which is a lot more than can be said of some speedway riders, who just go through the motions, or protect an average etc...….

Give me a team of 'Garritys' any day!
