Bandits’ fourth meeting in seven days and the third at home.

There are rumours of another visiting invasion of fans in the wake of the ultra-friendly Eagles posse last week; Birmingham also entering the Edinburgh/Berwick/Newcastle triangle.

Admission is £17 adults, £13 concessions, children accompanied by a paying adult are free, Friends and Family admits two adults who receive two Matchday Magazines for £35.

Birmingham recall Tobias Thomsen – who made five early-season appearances for them - in place of injured skipper James Shanes. He has quite a bit of Shielfield experience having appeared in the last two Stars of Tomorrow events.

Following the surprise retirement of Jordan Jenkins early in the week the Brummies have booked Josh Embleton from the all-conquering Newcastle Gems side as a guest replacement.

Tero the Hero returns to his original UK stomping ground while Jason Garrity is often worth the admission price on his own while Adam Ellis and Paco Castagna have both had productive evening in the Borders.

As always the gates open at 6pm, meeting starts at 7pm.

Dick Barrie promised those who huddled against the Arctic wind on Wednesday night that it would be a sunshine Saturday - as always other weather forecasts are available ... and will no doubt feature on this forum.

Slick and dusty me thinks, its going to be a nightmare to get any moisture into the track as Berwick rangers are at home so there will be no chance of watering from middle of the morning to just a couple of hours before racing starts.
