Ipswich v Peterborough 22/08/2019

Recommended Posts

Hardly worth talking about tbh. Ipswich to win easily. if not this will end up a busy thread with shocked Speedway fans wondering what went on. 58-32

I know one thing about this meeting.

The Witches certainly need to buck their ideas up after the shocking recent performances away at Lynn and at home to Swindon !

A total inability to get out of the gate and no speed on the odd occasion they were in front going into the first bend.

The Panthers pushed us fairly close last time they were here and that shouldn't be the case this time.

The riders need to shape up or ship out as the expression goes if its not a comfortable win !

Whilst some may say loyalty to your team by the management is admirable we need to be convincing in our performance.

We may well be at risk of falling out of the playoffs if we don't get the winning mentality back.

Oh, and can somebody tell Bob to prep the track to suit us and not the opposition please !

Enough said for now

After recent performances this isnt the foregone conclusion that most will see it as - although perhaps it should be

The riding order changes again and this time to hiw quite a few have called for since the reserve switches. It may only last a shirt time though as Danny looks set to take over at 1 from September unless there is quite a swing from Thursdays scores

Any win will do for me even by the odd point!

I hope the fans' sake he is not in the team as his inclusion on Monday at KL was pointless. He looked far from fit and quite disinterested, as well as having - we assume - bike problems.

Im sure he will be keen to ride - the last few meetings are a great opportunity to make him an attractive proposition in 2020......;)

No Bike problems, just a wrist problem, there were a lot of riders struggling to hold on to their bikes Monday night, and the majority hadn't recently had their wrist in a cast.

On the Peterborough website Panthers could be without Wright, Andersen and Proctor

Boro/Wolves/Championship select then.....plus RR of course

I think Sam Masters fits with the 5% away rule. Hans is 6.89 +5% …… 7.23

Masters has a 7.11 average.

Nick Morris fits for either Ty( with the 5%) or Wright.

That's if they are available, and willing.

Ippo's got this one .

I'm sure they'll be willing, we don't want to hand the witches easy ppints
