Curfew apparently, off the back of a lad needing to go to hospital and the issue around medical cover.
Sings4Speedway
Started silly late in the first place, track already in a bad way after the first 15 heats and once Spencer needed to go in the ambulance that was that.
Happy Hunter
There is a lot more about this on the Lions v Glasgow thread.
MattJ81
Match re-arranged for this evening, Cradley without Harry McGurk who has school (!!), Sheldon Davies is taking a break from the sport and is replaced by James Chattin. Tom Spencer is still missing due to the crash in the first staging of this meeting and there are fears his season is over as it was a nasty one. TurnTwo
If cradleys play off hopes are still in the balance they need a point here. Not sure it’s doable though. Leicester far stronger throughout. Unless Luke Harris and Halsey can spring a surprise?
Sidney the robin
Does anyone know if BBC radio commentaries will cover tonight? i presume Wolves were on last night.
Sings4Speedway
New reserve and tbc for Cradley is not a good start. If the top 4 all do something it could get close but in reality perks hume and RTD should be able to win this alone. No Ryan Mac again? Assuming work time off issues although didnt think rules allowed that this year?

mac101
Ryan’s work was giving him a hard time for changing days off to go to speedway some dates were getting changed and he had to give plenty notice for unpaid time off and it was not really possible and his work has to come first so couldn’t guarantee we could do all the remaining matches and having to pull out of the iow match left Leicester trying to get cover and didn’t want this to happen again with only mdl riders to cover for him they wanted someone who could do all the rest of this seasons meetings mind you They could Have got Ryan Mac to guest tonight lol
PotteringAround
No problem with the Ryan MacDonald situation. They were only covering with unattached MDL riders as per the rules, and they have recently redeclared with Josh Embleton in his place. The real dodgy one that Leicester seem to be pulling is Luke Ruddick. He was ruled out on 24 May with a 9 day concussion suspension due to complaining of a headache after a fall. He still hasn't reappeared, yet Leicester are being allowed to continue to run R/R for him (which scores good points) even though the 9 day suspension has long passed.

Said it time and time again that the use of RR should be restricted to emergency use only. Allow guests of whatever level but give fans 7 riders and a meeting that doesn't drag out forever

Nothing wrong with R/R for a genuine injury or a genuine missing rider. Better than loads of guests.... ...but how can it be legal to use R/R for a rider who had a 9 day concussion suspension, which ended 3 months ago? If Ruddick is withholding his services, they should have had a facility for 28 days to allow them to make a new signing. It smells as if Leicester are purposely not letting Ruddick ride because they can get more points from using a facility. Anyone seen the supposed NL coordinator recently?

It's a pity they are doing this and being allowed to do it. In a development league how can rider replacement over such a prolonged period be in the best interests of the league? Leicester's going ahead and putting a team into the league has been beneficial and welcome, but it's disappointing they have continued with this arrangement for so long even if it is being done within the rules. It does tarnish an otherwise commendable venture.

It seems to happen every season Rob Shuttleworth, Lee Payne, Sam Chapman, Callum Walker all riders off the top of my head that were out for prolonged period of time (in Shuttleworth's case forever has anyone actually seen him?) and RR used non stop in their place at the benefit to the home sides. How can and should it be a benefit in this league to have no rider filling a position.

If he was to get one whilst riding, someone colud be seriously injured.
