Hasnt it been past experience that where stock cars are involved speedway take second best. If that is the case, would it be a good move.

If Speedway is second best when it comes to numbers of spectators / profitability etc. then you have to accept that ,

and be thankful that the Stock Car promoter is happy to share a track with speedway

Too many Speedway fans moan about sharing a stadium with Stock Cars, greyhounds, etc.    yet it is often the other activities that keep the stadium going as a business

Having some major stock car meetings has definitely helped Kings Lynn Speedway...

The stadium upgrade wouldnt have happened with just Speedway income I would have thought..

I believe this year Odsal has the World Final so maybe that will impact the KL finances?

It does appear that a great many things help "subsidise" lots of Speedway clubs to compete, as the fan numbers dont always cover the costs, so whether fans like it or not, sometimes you just have to accept it and live with it..

Looks like they are keeping the shale track,so maybe hope for speedway yet,in years to come.

My daughter was speaking a RFL Rep at a recent match  he said both RFL and the Stocks promotion  are  hopeful  for s/way to return to Odsal possible as soon as 2023 !

Halifax was the real hotbed of the sport in that area so any new team at Odsal should be called Halifax "Odsal" Dukes and in the old red blue and white colours the Dukes used!

Saturday nights in the 2nd Division would be the best option I reckon for anyone brave enough to do it!

it can't be Halifax in Bradford, although if it was in Halfax there'd be better crowds

Yes there is certainly a shortage of riders but hopefully Polish rules maybe relaxed and more Scandinavians can be found?

Losing the Shay was a massive blow not only to speedway but in the long run landlords Halifax FC also suffered. I'm convinced that had ways been worked out to keep speedway going at the Shay in the mid 80's then it would likely still be running there now cause that place was always well supported!

As for riders, wasn't there talk last year of removing visa rules for Commonwealth citizens? If they did that, there would be a source of, at least, more Australian riders.

No - a complete fantasy. Anyone that imagines the UK government would give unrestricted access to Commonwealth citizens (including 1.4 billion Indian citizens) is deluded.
