Wallinger is in and out of teams it's hard to keep up where he's at.

If this move has gone through then it should be of no surprise to anyone. Wallinger has always stated his desire to be a ' Bear ' as its his local club and he first started at Redcar as a ' Cub '. When first approached this season he was unable to sign as he as injured and the move was put on ice and Redcar looked elsewhere. Having been harshly treated by Scunthorpe last season and Birmingham this he understandably wants to ride where he trusts the management and has always got on with the current Redcar regime . Given his residence is less than an hour from Redcar and it's his ' dream move ' why would he turn the move down? and why do you believe they have done anything underhand? Having had personal dealing's ( over sponsorship) with the promotion at Redcar ,who have been criticised for their naivety and honesty at times , I don't think they will have done anything to change that. You are just upset at a rider leaving to try and better himself, good luck to the lad as this may be his last chance. Mike0310
So your happy to put another death nail in the development league then,we gave him a second chance after he backed out of a deal at the beginning of the season put yourself in Plymouth’s shoes how would you feel if they thought he was going to sign for Redcar do you honestly believe they would offer him a contract of course they wouldn’t get real I hope his dream move as you say works out for him,but sadly I don’t think it will. If this move has gone ahead, and there's only you saying it has, how is it a nail in the development league? Its a rider from the lowest league moving to a higher league, isn't that what's supposed to happen?

Plymouth would have changed Wallinger in an instant if they could have found someone else who could be arsed to drive down the M5. No loyalty from most clubs towards riders these days that’s been shown across all 3 leagues so don’t expect any in return Edited August 11, 2019 by The H Man

When you have been involved in helping a rider / riders out with support and financial backing and they get signed into a team and they / you hope this is the one for them after giving up their committments then be fed Bullshtein and dropped it makes you no longer trust anyone in Speedway management, but like they say Karma will pop up. Mike0310
I shouldn’t be surprised really look how well they looked after Ben Barker when he was having Some off track issues they rewarded him with the boot and he was travelling up from Cornwall every week your right about karma he’s flourishing at Scunthorpe and please tell me where are Plymouth going to get a replacement.
Norfolk Bear
You have no idea regarding BB leaving Redcar , the club had given help beyond what they needed to.

Totally different situation with Ben like Norfolk Bear says. He was and is still liked by the Redcar fans, but that was a different situation the management were put under. If they didn't think anything of him they wouldn't of kept him as long as they did.

Your getting very upset over a Championship 2 pt man.Probably costing him to ride at Plymouth, can’t blame him for going local.

Redcar kept him longer than most clubs would have and he obviously got paid good money to travel from Cornwall. Replacing a purchased rider is not a ' buying ' clubs issue. It's a development league, try developing one !
Mike0310
So no suggestions where we might find a replacement from if we get battered every week our crowds go down revenue goes down but don’t you go worrying about it as long as you get your man,I hope your season goes well and your happy with what you’ve done to a club which is already struggling and who knows if they will be running next year. Every club do it to themselves. This year's Speedway has been like a Merry Go Round with Riders hopping on and off all over. And 1 rider dosn't make a club it's a team effort remember. boz
How about Tom Woolley - he was offered a place at Plymouth at the same time we offered him a Championship place.
Boothers
Can I just point out along with other folk that if this in fact is the case (and only you seem to be aware of it) David Wallinger is currently 5th in Plymouth's averages and as such cannot be the sole reason for Plymouth's impending (as you would have it) demise. To blame the Redcar promotion is desperation personified.
