Work to start on the streamlined pitch this week, so hope the weather is kind. There is a realisation in the Football camp that they need the Speedway to survive for both sports to survive. Pleasingly Courtney junior has the sense to see this too, shame the butcher didn’t. Edited January 11, 2020 by tweedcider

Berwick Rangers must need the speedway rent more than ever now they’re languishing in the non leagues. Can’t imagine football attendances average much above

Can’t imagine football attendances average much above 500 A couple of weeks ago, the average so far for the season was 334. This included a couple of cup matches at the start of the season against higher league opposition which got 5-600. League matches have been getting 250-300.

Sounds really encouraging behind the scenes, well done. Just think, with all this additional revenue plus the huge saving to come on the total number of points scored this season (especially away from Shielfield), the Bandits' might mount another play-off push in 2021

"IF"Jason decides to puts his racing head on then the only rider likely to beat him will be Tai, I would suggest the reason Jason is riding is a favour to his W.A.
