Terry
Worthy winner, be good to see a new Brit at Cardiff. Danny Ayres should be first reserve!

Gifting Wright white basically gifting him it. Congratulations on the win anyway someone different at Cardiff. A track that’ll probably not suit him but best of luck anyway. Do you think Cook would have produce the outside pass that Charles done in the final, the inside guys were making the bend most of the night? Gunner85
Delighted for James Wright.... Mr entertainment got his just rewards. Not the best of line ups for the British Final... but once more the NSS produces some super racing. A deserved winner. How did Danny Ayres stay on his bike ?? OveFundinFan
What a fantastic meeting On the brilliant Belle Vue track Won magnificently by Charles Wright Individual race of the night - Danny Ayres in heat 19 - should have won it Absolutely nothing wrong with British speedway when the riders can race on a brilliant track All that is needed is 9 more tracks as race worthy as Belle Vue then there would be a Premiership League worthy of watching by thousands - Promotors, its time to wake up and deliver the goods.

Why on earth can’t they get the track right from the start? 22 heats of speedway, first lot are going to be boring so by the time we get to the end there not racing on concrete

Cook? He was nowhere near quick enough. King maybe. King obviously thought if he took blue he could cover red & white. But it didn't work out.

Agree to a certain extent Mr B ; Cookie should have picked white but I still think Wright and King were that bit better tonight and were willing to go high, wide and then some. Two dynamic performances with Cookie off the pace and a bit jaded in final.Worthy, worthy winner. Well done Charles.
r8gdp
First time in ages I've watched a meeting in Britain on TVs and enjoyed it so much . Enjoyed woffy s commentary with Pearson and Tatum. Some great close racing . Congratulations to Charles Wright worthy winner hope and well done to Danny Aryes mr entertainment. Came across him last year at Sheffield at the young guns meeting when he was collecting money during the interval a very nice pleasant bloke.

Think King picked the right gate ,Wright just too good.Interesting Tai said last week in SON programme he was always reluctant to give an opponent the inside gate in a final.

Suspect Cook isnt 100% and cant hang on in the deep stuff. Not once did he head right out wide to where Wright, King, Ayres etc went. Best rider by far won the night. Dont think either Starke or Wright deserved to be excluded in that crash, neither were aware of each other or intended to wipe each other out. Hope Starkey is ok. Popular Post False dawn
Can anyone deny Woffy's entertainment value tonight? Not to mention his usual good racing knowledge. Even his lack of commentating expertise was entertaining. Actually, he brought a brand of comment that I found refreshing. Forget the professional approach. Let's have more of this unvarnished expert comment.
