Scorpions v Glasgow 28.07.19

Recommended Posts

WE'VE PUMPED what must be thousands of gallons of water off the track today. The forecast for tomorrow is much better, and unless it changes, it will be ALL SYSTEMS GO for tomorrow's meeting against Glasgow Tigers. REMEMBER it's a 6.30pm start-time!

See you tomorrow!

Should be a great match, given our home form and your away form!

Our long tail is a worry , but I've seen young Australians take very well to the Scunthorpe track in the past , so young Connor Bailey might find things more to his liking than recent away tracks have . But it should be an entertaining encounter .

TODAY’S MEETING IS ON!

Just to reassure everyone that it is still ALL SYSTEMS GO for today’s meeting.

The weather here in the East is very different to Sheffield.

In fact, Rob Godfrey is currently wearing his shorts and is preparing to water the track!

SEE YOU LATER!

What does Rob normally wear:D:t:

This is the beauty of having your own stadium ,were you can work on the track whenever.Unlike Sheffield were there promotion have limited access to there stadium .

Hope the weather stays kind as this should be a cracking meeting .Glasgow have the strongest 2 riders in Cooky and Rasmus in this league by far just hope we can contain the rest of the Tigers for the points to keep the Scorpions on track for the play offs , hoping for good racing and all riders finish the meeting injury free
