Swindon v Belle Vue Premiership Thursday 25/07/2019

Recommended Posts

So its BV on Thursday.  BV haven’t travelled so well this season and have a couple of riders still not back to where they were prior to their injuries but they shouldn’t be underestimated.  Swindon have suffered for most of the year from injuries - just as one recovers another has got injured.  Adam being out is a loss on his form this year but R/R should cover.  Swindon also have the “find” of the league in Rasmus Jensen (still can’t believe no one picked him up at the start of the year).

I think Swindon should win this and no league points for BV.  COYR

we should have enough in the locker, let's hope the ref plays ball and starts the races in a timely manner, not holding them to 'catch riders out' ..... does my nut in when they hold the tapes for so long.

But…... do the referees hold them so long because riders are moving?

Riders are supposed to stay still!

If they do not stay still the ref should cancel the start and issue a warning to the rider.

Klindt posted on twitter that he had spoken to referee, who said that he was holding the tapes for longer to stop movement. Well it's not working, never seen so many restarts. Just let them go & get on with the racing. The crowd come to see the riders not some prima donna sat up in the stand.

We haven't a cat in hells chance of getting any points at Swindon, 56-34 home win.

Be a bit more positive. We had our bad run. That is over. 3 in a row at Swindon. Just.

I'd love to agree with you, but can't.
