Fromafar
I use AccuWeather which I find very good.
Halifaxtiger
Tonight at Redcar they all got it wrong. Every single one predicted rain and there was none.

Every weather forecaster has its positives and negatives, probably none better than looking out the window and forecasting yourself.

Bandit59
Does anybody know if the B&G will be showing SoN tomorrow or any of the pubs?
George Dodds
pretty sure B&G doesn't have BT Sports - The Angel, Blenheim, White Horse, Red Lion and Leaping Salmon all have BT and show live football ... as for speedway, you could always ask. Bit of a treck but the castle have put Grand Prix on before when I’ve asked for it.
screm
Heavy rain at the minute and has been for a while and showing no sign of stopping anytime soon. Only IMO but after the dry off a few weeks ago against Scunthorpe tonight's meeting must be in doubt as this time it is actually raining. Thunder showers forecast for later on to as you say, unlike against Scunthorpe, it’s raining now with more to come

Now who's being pessimistic Most forecasts say showers from 9am stopping at 6pm. Met Office says 30% chance of light showers after 3pm. XC has 5mm of rain between 10 am and 6pm. Compared to the forecasts last night, that's a drought I think the crucial thing is whether its coming down at start time and fingers crossed it won't be. screm
Looking more promising at the minute, rain has just about stopped and clouds a lot brighter, still a lot of rain fell though.

One thing that is guaranteed on a Berwick thread is pessimism, and let us be thankful for that.

jrs
Netweather.tv radar is accurate with 5 minute updates https://www.netweather.tv/ Looks like a strange day for the weather with the winds changing from SE to WNW as the day progresses and with luck we could avoid too much rain. Good luck to HT on his annual visitation. Edited July 20, 2019 by jrs
