Endeavour
Strengthens the Diamonds. Need everyone to play their part. Don’t think we are taking enough of a lead. How has the track ridden recently?
IronScorpion
As far as I know, in an anti-clockwise direction! 1

KingOfTheNorth
Will be very close on aggregate, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the aggregate win comes down to the last heat of this meeting. Monarchs have riders more than capable of winning races around Brough Park, and even if not that, filling in the minor places to keep the score tight. This tie really has got the old cup feel about it, waking up with the butterfly’s in the stomach, trying to predict where we can get an advantage, praying that Fridays performance was the turning point for Oor Wullie. But I will tell you this, don’t ask why I’ve turned into Rab C Nisbett there, it has been a good few years since I planned an evening around watching the Speedway updates. Roll on tonight, and I hope everyone leaves the stadium having been entertained and if not entirely happy with the result, at least leaving knowing their team gave it their all. Don't we need to be raising vital funds to keep us going too!! Although obviously I will be supporting with charitable donations

Sadly, the Lifeboat crew will not be there tonight. They have been called away to an incident on Humberside. Hopefully they can visit later in the season. Robinh88
I'd presume Wells is riding on borrowed time now. He's a better rider than he is showing ....

Cj69
There was always a little hope but that disappeared fast. Congrats Newcastle a very strong team at home and capable of mounting a decent shot at a play off spot. Too many riders not riding to (or near) their potential. Concentrate on home form now. Any points picked up away a bonus but focus must surely be to keep the home fans entertained. Give Coles and Ruddick (when returns) the rest of the season with a look at next year.
andys
Just got back home and I have to congratulate BOTH teams, I've seen some good meeting in the many years going to Brough Park, but tonight probably surpassed the lot.... It basically had everything, I can honestly say if Edinburgh had pulled it off, I'd still have left the stadium feeling I'd been truly entertained,. Don't want to single any rider out in particular, but young josh Pickering take a bow son, absolutely brilliant overtakes and your 15 yard race was worth admission money itself, and a special mention to the track staff for preparing a brilliant racetrack which gave us all an excellent night of entertainment....
