Bad track and an extremely weak team. BT should never have shown this meeting.
IainB
The racing at Kings Lynn these days is a shadow of what it used to be back in the 80's and early 90's... It's really living on past glories

There’s footage on Youtube of Saddlebow in the 80’s with England v USA and some brilliant racing. On a Saturday afternoon!

2ndbendbeerhut
Rubbish track... gate and go stuff just like when Ipswich went there. How many passes were there tonight? When Lambert and Cook can't pass when behind there is the proof that something is wrong. Couldn't pay to watch that every week.

Pooles track is far superior to Saddlebow now the track has been fixed. We have something called passing on a properly dressed track. No wonder there was no one there. I wouldn’t bother if that was served up every week. Well done to Kings Lynn on their win. 5

Fixed when in 1989 ??? all you want is a winning side you could not care less about the entertainment element.

King's Lynn as a Speedway track is still there but it most certainly isn't a Speedway racers track at all. Only big mistakes contributed to any passing. Awful meeting and certainly wouldn't encourage any stay-aways to return. Adrian Flux Arena is all about the gating, it's very very ordinary and lacks any value for money in entertainment.

Not really the shape which is the problem (although shortening and widening would do no harm). It’s all about the shale used which is great for stock cars (massive crowds) but awful for speedway bikes (much lower crowds). Nothing will change while the stocks rule the roost. Klindt was very tentative, no intrest in actually racng & Grajczonek only turned up for his last two rides. If I were a Pugwasher I'd be happier with the efforts of Summers & Newman than Klindt. They may have been outclassed for the most part but they never gave up.
noggin
The amount of whining tonight I had to check there wasn't an old WW2 Dornier flying overhead. 2

Unfortunately. But surely it’s in Chapmans interest to have a great race track with plenty of entertainment. Most of the passing tonight was because the track was bad and quality riders were actually feeling unsafe to go for it. It did improve in the last few heats safety wise but Cook fell in his own picking up grip Nd Klindt was extremely lucky on a very patchy first bend not to get injured, when his back wheel went from grip to slick. Both Wells and Jorgensen had to retire having aggravated injuries due to the conditions. This is not right. If this had been Wimborne Road it would have gone to 40 pages by now. It’s in Buster’s interest to have a track surface which suits cars and makes lots and lots of money from them, it’s really that simple. Speedway is just an afterthought nowadays.
BobC
Well done to Kings Lynn on their win. Never in doubt. Every team has a mare of a night, tonight it was Pooles turn.

We’ve won there twice already this season with a full team would do so again. The result tonight was never in doubt before the meeting so nothing has changed. At least our three riders walk away intact. Don't you think you should of said all ????? Oh sorry think it might be a double post.. Whooops.
