Im not a monarchs fan lol think its fair to say with kyle in the team it would have been a home win

My sincere apologies with tarring you with that brush.

Should have known as you didn't come across as bitter and deluded and rolling out excuse after excuse from the book of whoppers.

I’m a Monarchs fan but really don’t agree with this. These things happen.

Only people losers here are Edinburgh. Denied the services of a rider. This home defeat could cost us at end of season.

Couldnt make it up. Howarth would surely have scored more than four. Should be re-run.

Would have agreed if referee had implemented the rule book properly and denied a facility for the rider who failed the test on the night.

That did not happen and Monarchs were allowed to revert to R/R effectively making them no worse off, not the fault of anyone other than Monarchs team they couldn't cover for an absent team member.

Sorry

Breaking new on speedwaygb website kyle cleared to carry on racing , trace of co codamol prescibed by the hospital showed up in his test.

That should shut up the trolls, keyboard warriors and general knobheads that slated him over the Edinburgh incident.

Wonder which poor b*stard theyll pick on next

Exactly.

Referee’s mistake is not Edinburgh’s fault. They never wanted R/R for Josh that’s why they hired Kyle. Why would you want R/R which would mean tracking Speedy Lawson?

The only thing made public on the night was family emergency ,it was fans doing 2+2.

How can they have known it was anything to do with drugs though? Unless it leaked from somewhere

Should be when a club is denied using a programmed rider. I support Edinburgh BUT am not blinkered. Would have said the same no matter Team. Left Edinburgh completely disadvantaged

It was announced on the Saturday morning? By both of his clubs...

The cause of the failed drug test was not announced because obviously they did not know at the time .That is what Wolves said, while he did fail a sample they did say they would await the outcome.

All logic may point to Howarth scoring more than 4 , but you just don't know . He could fall in a race , he could have bike gremlins , he could go through the tapes , anything can happen .

We had an alleged track expert as a guest at Redcar tonight , and he scored 4 . You just don't know what you're going to get with guests .

So to start talking about rerunning the meeting is nonsense .

Great to see Kyle been cleared. Just out of interest are the kits on a par with other sports or are they in need of an update. Seems strange other sports stars never seem to get suspended for taking co codomol. I’ve never known it as an performance enhancer only a pain killer. ?

Think back to the Bradley Wiggins kerfuffle which was effectively over an asthma inhaler. In cycling, football and rugby (three sports i have some knowledge of) use of banned drugs is allowed with the use of a medical exemption certificate but it is up to the athletes to ensure that they are covered in the event of a drugs test.  The riders should have been given a list of substances which could cause them to  return suspicious test results. If they didn't then that is something the authorities need to tighten up. If they were then that is something the riders need to tighten up on.
