Redcar v Glasgow KOC (1st leg)

Recommended Posts

Much better than expected from the Bears - not sure what Ulrich did after his first ride but a completely different rider after that and deserved his rider of the night award.

Stewart was excellent again, and not too many people will pass Craig Cook this year so great effort from Wright. Greaves again quick and possibly deserved more points.

Cook was in a class of his won for Glasgow - struggle to remember Proctor having a worse meeting here and Starke aside Glasgow did not offer too much support for Cook. I don't think 12 points will be enough, but should at least make Friday interesting.

Were you at MPA tonight.

His commitment to this sport is immense.

Maybe so , but that's the rumour . Friday's second leg has all the makings of a classic . 12 points is a handy lead and the tie is perfectly balanced .

It is Craig Cook and what the rest can achieve.

We'll have Jensen back for Friday , that will make a big difference

But we have the better reserves.

Bickley is handy enough on his home shale , but Greaves is pretty good round Ashfield and will be troublesome

Bears announce 3 new riders, Eric Riss,  Kasper Anderson, and Tom Wooley,  With Eric and Tom named in Fridays second leg.

Can't argue with the facts. Three strong heat leaders especially MPT as third of those. Andersen at 2 should do alright also. Extra pressure on Greaves as Wooley can get and be a road block in the NL but probably won't wash in the Champs. However if he is happy with 3 rides a meeting the rest should be able to do enough to cover for him.

Wonder when they told Ostergaard as when interviewed by Roy on getting his Man of the Match award last night he told all the fans he was looking forward to Glasgow on Friday and he hoped he and his team mates had their gating gloves on
