If Robert Lambert and Cookie can get a similar number of points to Doyle and Batchelor, then the stars will win. By my reckoning rest of the team should equal or out score their opposite numbers. 48-42 to Stars

Anyway back to the match.Such a shame to see Broc Nicol getting injured before making an appearance in a Stars race jacket. Also for Sheffield as he was guesting for Redcar at the time(thanks J.bates).So he'has a broken collarbone so Lynn may have to make other arrangements now,but Lambert back for this one anyway.

This has the makings of a very tight affair and can see this going down to the wire. With a spearhead of Doyle and Batchelor i think Swindon are slightly better than our top two.And they have strengthened up at reserve again with the addition of Nielsen. If Lynn are going to get 3pts from this they need Riss to hit the ground running again and the engine room and reserves to step up to the plate.

Weather set fair again, and i have 6hrs off work so i can attend:t:

It seems that the end of last seasons injury jinx, has struck even earlier this season  Hopefully that's it now and we get to have a good second half of the season.

Best wishes to Broc for a speedy recovery.

That goes for all the injured riders of course.

Don’t think we’ll miss Nicol at home in the short term as Lambert is a reasonably  good number seven round Lynn but it’s a completely different story away so if Nicol is likely to miss many away matches I’d be looking to sign somebody else at least in the short term until he’s fit.

I think the 1st of July is the last day for team changes this season for every club.
