Not for the first time Rory Schlein throwing his rattle out of the pram, its quite embarrassing at times. We live in a reasonably free Country Rory you can always get another job.

Conveniently the Aussie cry baby managed to win ht13 tho

Good result today and for once we were making some gates. What a joke mr Schlein was.Too much shale on the track ???. It's a speedway track what do you expect.? Our guests didn't moan and they don't ride our track every week either.Praise to all our team today and special thanks to the guests. The score should have been more as we dropped 4 or 5 points .Josh McDonald needs to calm down a bit ,he's trying too hard at times and it's costing him some points but you can't fault his effort.Glad Drew got amongst the points today so that should help his confidence.Unexpected easy win today against a team of whinges ( apart from Todd Kurtz) no wonder the sport is on its backside when experienced riders act like they have today.

was kyle there or was he in bed sleeping it off ?

Didn`t see him.  I would have thought that if he had a clear conscience he would have been there supporting the team.

Are riders in his situation allowed to attend, though?  There are various restrictions on footballers who have tested positive for medicines etc.

The riders weren't even under starting order when Schlein pushed the tapes, it was obviously an instruction from May (and if it wasn't, May certainly wasn't annoyed with him ha ha)  But it just showed the rest of them up when Todd Kurtz won the re run in the fastest time up to then (he was obviously thinking of the bigger picture :D  ) Also to be fair to Bomber, he did put in the effort when the "necessary" work had been done.  As has been said, our guests had no problem with it.. huge thanks to Simon and Jake.   Also great to see Drew visibly getting confidence back throughout the meeting as well.

Was the track as bad as the Somerset promotion state?

It was a bit trick early on but danny king threatened the track record in ht 6 i think so couldnt have been that bad Sheffield fancied it one somerset rider didnt simple as that really

Two of the races had times of 59.50 and 59.54 only 0.4 from the track record. Speaks for itself really, must have been really dangerous.

Anyone else notice that just before heat 13 and Schlein being due back on track they played 'it's a man's world' by James Brown. Made me laugh anyway.

Quite frankly im as disappointed with the Somerset promotion as i am with Schein. Wright kicked up a stink before and got the boot. Same should have happened to Rory, no rider is bigger than Speedway.

That's an interesting and valid point - It's a bizarre one in that Todd Kurtz had his best meeting of the season by a long distance on a track that was 'terrible' according to the Somerset team manager and promotor. It's a sad sign of the times when you only have to look at IDH's picture of the Oak Tree Arena last week to see it resembling the M5 by half way through the meeting to see who is dictating track prep there and calling the shots. No wonder he doesn't fancy it with some dirt down on the track.

I said at the time and I stand by it, signing Schlein was a mistake and the most untypical Somerset signing you will ever see.
