The funny thing is that as the powers that be were so wrapped up in the rouse to stop us tracking a stronger No7 they held back on our redeclaration but have now issued it showing Tero 4.55 replacing Ricky 4.52 even though our team total is 43.09.

Can get complicated screwing us over sometimes.

The change is effective 30th June so uses June averages, but the green sheet is issued in July so uses July averages.

Not really

At the end of the day its completely immaterial.

The reality is this. We had a genuinely injured rider and for reasons well outside of any common sense, we were declined a facility and made to use a junior.

In any world that is just really silly and no man is going to convince me otherwise.

So basically the use of Bickley rather than Vissing was correct and the 17:10 phone call was incorrect information which suggests that the governing body don’t know their own rules?

Not arsed about the rules.

In a situation like last night dispensation should be given.

Christ knows they've used it enough times for the cartel

Whether they understand their rules or not (which clearly they dont) is not relevant.

Cases should be dealt with specifically and last night was a good example of bad luck.

Because of 2 injuries/timing/rules, it had left bv in a place where they couldn't provide an adequate replacement.

That is just ludicrous.

Anyway it is what is. Dont agree with the rules in specific instances and common sense should be applied.

What happens next, if tero isn't fit for say the next 2 weeks?

Do we revert back to the initial line up when ricky is fit?

“SGB PREMIERSHIP ISSUE 13 - Issued on 01-07-19”

“Team Declaration Effective Immediately”

Issue 11 has Ricky’s effective average 1/7 as 4.24.

Issue 13 has Ricky’s effective average 1/7 as 4.52.

It does mentions 4.24 but has no date, it’s just hovering about.

Mistakes where made here due to the focus being on screwing us and like I say it can (to some) get complicated.

They've already acknowledged their error but seriously, what you've just posted there sums up the absolute state of british speedway.

The only facility is 'no facility'

F&&k off

Edit, not a pop at you btw

“Facility may be granted at the Directors discretion”

Nick Morris - Wolves. Yes

Dan Bewley & Tero Arnio - Aces. No

I see what you see.

Their is a cartel and we are not part of it. The focus isn't support, it's about how to f##k us over.

I can only assume he still wants his hands on the facility and hasn't forgiven us since morton/Gordon when he was told to f##k off

I’d say it’s extremely relevant. A governing body who doesn’t know its own rules isn’t fit for purpose.

These ' decisions ' can be made by one individual on the management team. If that individual happens to have a vested interest in the result then he makes his decision accordingly. Has happened many times recently with those on the top table benefitting .

One club can cancel a fixture as its not good business sense to run when riders are unavailable, another club gets threatened with fines for wanting to do the very same.

A club gets granted a facility for a missing rider when there is no facility in the rule book, another club gets denied it.

Several clubs apply to run on a certan evening but only the maagement teams clubs get to run that night and the others suffer the consequences.

it goes on and on.

Only an independent ' Ruler ' with no connection to any existing club will put a stops this.

Why can't the Auto Cycle Uion run the sport?

At the end of the day the rule says no facility

Thankfully on this occasion the rules were followed.

We signed Tero but due to his injury we had to revert to our previous declaration and include Ricky. This is what also happened at Kings Lynn with Nicol/Lambert.

Issue 13 PL averages effective 1/07/19 have Ricky at 4.52. This allows us to use a CL guest up to 6.78.

Issue 16 CL averages effective 1/07/19 have Vissing  6.65

Aces rode against Poole 01/07/19
